Lacking tax information
I am satisfied with the book, the delivery etc. However, the tax information in the parcel was not sufficient, so the Danish custom stopped it and I had to pay tax once more - and an penalty of 25 USD, which has made the purchase rather expensive.

Discovering Communion with Early Women Poets
I write inspirational poetry to express my spirituality. It was wonderful and encouraging to know that I am part of a long line of women who are moved by the Spirit in this way. I was so excited to see this book and to savor it's contents.

A stunning collection
I'd ordered this book from our library system to share with a group studying mysticism. The words of these women over an immense span of time are moving and insightful. I shared two of the poems with our group and several people intend to purchase the book for themselves. Jane Hirshfield is an admired poet who has completed a seemingly impossible task in gathering these works.

Deeply moving
I never imagined I'd be reading a poem written by the Queen of Sheba. The brief biographies of the women whose poems are included are as intriguing as the poems are powerful. Jane Hirshfield has done another remarkable job here. The Ink Dark Moon, has been a personal favourite for years, and this book has joined it on my bedside table in a permanent place of honour.

The book looks like it fell into the hands of a toddler with a speedmarker.
Definitely a good book, the contents that is, but it was somewhat marred by a lot of doodles on the edges and in the back.
