Big dog, big paw. (I did not use the clay from kit) My dog passed away & I had the vet make me a paw imprint of his. It was 5.5” in diameter. The larger side is exactly 4x6, smaller side is 3.25”x5”. I did trim the clay molding of my dogs paw to make it work. Would be nice if they made these frames with larger cut outs, & choice of shapes.

I wish I didn't have to write this review, because it unfortunately means that I have really lost my best friend of 14 1/2 years. But that is no fault of the manufacturer, of course. As sad as the whole situation has been, this framed paw kit has actually helped a lot in the mourning process, and it has become a treasured memory of my dearly departed dog. I miss him so much, but having this small part of him makes me smile.The "clay" it comes with actually dries to more of a foam consistency and strangely smells very nice. Using it was easy enough and it created a beautiful cast of my dog's paw with no sticking to fur or clay left behind. This was actually a big concern for us, too, as he was a long haired breed.Assembly was very easy, and the final product is simple but beautiful. It would fit in well with any aesthetic. I'm not happy with the circumstances around why I had to buy this, but I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Bought these ahead of time for our aging Shih Tzu fleet (5). A little morbid perhaps but the vet charges about $100 for roughly the same thing. These are good quality frames. The "clay" for the print isn't clay like I thought it would be but is a plastic foam. It works really well though but one thing I found out was that you have to roll it fairly thinly to fit under the glass. Learned the hard way on one print but used a razor to slice off the back of the print to make it thinner. Once assembled, these are really nice.

This frame is a lovely display for a photo and paw memorabilia. Nice, sturdy frame. Wood is a nice colour. Does not look cheap. Comes with an air-dry clay kit for paw prints, if you don't have a paw print already made. (You will want to make sure that the clay paw print is thin enough to fit into the shadowbox and matte, or else the back of it will not close properly.)

I didn't think this was going to be deep enough for the paw print mold, but it was. In the picture spot there was enough room to include their collars, cut down, to show their names. The only thing I did differently was to use the black backing as the back drop to the larger area so the molds stood out better. I am extremely pleased with this product and would/will be purchasing again and would recommend them. The quality and price are very good.

On a sad note this was purchased for our 18 year old cat who is dwindling with kidney failure, but still feisty. The paw print medium feels almost like a foam. And if you subject is uncooperative and you don’t like the print you can roll it out and redo it. Although we used for the cat, there is enough medium fora large dog or a baby print. We actually had enough left over to make a dog print ornament if our pit bull

Got 3 of these for our doggy after he had a stroke and we realized his time is nearing the end after 14 years. The clay is easy to mold but it was a bit tacky and got stuck in the pads of his paws a bit but it wasn’t too bad. The biggest problem was clay is a bit too thick when you add the double sided foam backing. I had to cut out a cm or two to get it to fit and then glued it down instead of using the backing included. I don’t know why they don’t include a little glue instead of the foam double sided backing.

My dog passed away the day before it came in the mail (he got too sick too fast, the delivery was on time) so i didn’t get to do the paw print, but the vet gave us a clay paw print. but it was too thick for the frame.. so i just put a second picture in the frame & have it sitting next to his ashes. Still looks beautiful & I get to see my big baby w everything that reminds me of him everyday. His ashes sit next to his original owners ashes , my uncle who passed a year before him , reunited in heaven. I love it , great purchase ❤️
