APIKA Chinese Traditional Old Beijing Shoes — Comfortable and Stylish
I recently purchased these APIKA Old Beijing Shoes and have been pleasantly surprised by their comfort and design. The canvas upper is breathable, making them suitable for extended wear, while the sole provides good traction. They're easy to slip on and off, adding to their convenience. Whether you're practicing martial arts like Kung Fu or Tai Chi, or simply looking for a comfortable everyday shoe, these fit the bill. Plus, they offer a touch of traditional Chinese style that's both unique and fashionable.

Great light shoes
These Chinese shoes are better quality than I expected. I had to do some work to figure out what size I should get. I am very happy that I bought them. My US size is 10 and 1/2 men's. I bought the 10 as described in US size. My left foot is slightly larger than my right, so I would say that these run perfectly true to size as per Amazon's description. It is tight on my left big toe when I stand, when sitting it is perfectly relaxed. I highly recommend this product

Comfortable and Durable
Light weight, flexible. The quality is above expectations. They're comfortable and support the whole foot. From what I can tell, they are also slip-resistant.

Disappointing fit
I ordered these shoes for kicking a punching bag outdoors in my driveway. They would work well for that purpose, if the fit was a bit better. I ordered size 41, which is my correct size (US women's 9.5 wide, US men's 7.5). I know size 41 is my correct size because I have other pairs of shoes in this size which fit well. I would like these shoes very well, except that the fit is not quite right. Both shoes are printed with size 41, but the left is a little too big, and the right is a little too small. The shoes appear to be the same size, so I think the fit is due to the way the upper is stitched onto the sole, and how much space was left at the edge. I was disappointed because otherwise, these are very nice martial arts shoes. They have that nice "brand new sneaker" smell when they come out of the package. They shipped from China in 9 days (free shipping for Prime members). The price was good ($15). They come bagged up in a cute plastic wrapper with Chinese writing on it. I have already worn these shoes and gotten dirt on them, so I will keep them and use them for something (maybe slippers, or basement shoes, because I have a damp basement and can't wear regular slippers down there to do the laundry). I will try them out on the punching bag, but I think because of the right shoe being a little too tight, they will not be comfortable for a long workout. The other shoes I have in size 41 are all either a good fit, or a little too loose. I can't really explain why this one is a little tight, unless it is the stitching or the size label is wrong. I wanted to give these shoes a good review, but unfortunately I got a pair that was not quite right.

Not flexible and do not fit right.
The pair I bought claim to be size "45" which is supposed to be 10/11 men's size US. But they fit more like a size 8/9. There's a 45 stamp inside indicating they're allegedly 45s but they're not. It's also like they just took the tai chi shoes and melted some rubber across the bottem of them. I've bought a couple pairs of 45s tai chi shoes and they feel great. Just i shred the soles to pieces doing karate in them at the gym so i was looking to try something with a little more durable and with lite traction. These are hurting my toes just trying to wear them, not sure im willing to even try training in them.

Pleased.
These are fun! They are supposed to fit tight and that’s hard to figure out from “sizes.” So, here’s the trick:These are actually marked in milimeters. The actual length, inside the shoe, in millimeters is written on the bottom of the sole.Step 1: Get a ruler, regular school supply ruler with a cm/mm scale, and measure your foot. If you will wear them with socks, measure with socks, if without, measure without. Remember 10 mm to 1 cm for us metrically challenged people. You should get something on the order of 250. If you get 8.5, you’re on the inch side, try again. If you get 24 and a half, almost there; multiply by 10. There, not so bad?Step 2. Find a China shoe size to metric chart (Google; it might be in cm, remember the conversion?) For example: CHN45 = 275 mm = 27.5 cm, inside. Pick what you think will fit. If in doubt, shoot small. I backed off 5 mm and that works. They do stretch somewhat, so you don’t have to hit it perfectly and that seems to negate any problems with my sorta widish foot. Quality seems good for the price. The rubber molding to the cloth is a bit messy, but acceptable. What exactly are the materials? Can you wash them? No idea, there’s no label at all. But I’m pleased with them.
