A true Hydrating essence that works with any beauty routine. This product is clear and looks like water. It feels slightly creamy, when it soaks into the skin, it is weightless and invisible. I use this as my first step immediately after cleansing and before and creams or moisturizers. It helps decrease pore size and evens out skin. It is difficult to discribe the effects because this step is part of a skin routine that improves the overall look of my skin, leaving my skin looking younger, plumper and less wrinkled.

I’ve been using this Hada Labo toner (“lotion”) for over 7 years. I’ve tried other hydrating toners, but this is the one I always return to. It’s completely scent-free, lightweight, and easy on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It’s not too watery to apply with your bare hands, if you’re like me and don’t like to waste cotton pads. It layers well with serums and moisturizers. It doesn’t do much else besides lightly hydrate your skin and prep it for your other face products, but it’ll never fail you.

For me, it took about 2 weeks to see results. I’m so glad I didn’t give up and stop using it! At first it seemed to actually dry my skin out. But after about 2 weeks, my skin now has a dewy healthy glow and it’s no longer dry or flaky! My skin tells on me when I skip using this, so you KNOW it works! Highly recommend!!!

Works very well. Dries with no sticky residue and moisturizes well.

Very good toner

I have been using this product for over 5 years. This recent purchase, November 2024, seems very thin and more like putting plain water on my face. It is not as hydrating as in prior purchases. Disappointing since it was an outstanding product.

I have been using this toner for 3 years. It hydrated my skin without irritation and that is all I am asking for. I have combo skin. It is light weight and dries pretty quick. No scent, texture is like water. Nice base for other skin care to layer on.
