It is light and comfortable. I didn't feel any trouble when wearing it for sleeping. Butabout mic is......For talking on the phone it's garbage. Someone else in the reviews said something about the talk function not the best and I have to agree

Q: Are these headphones small enough for a side sleeper?

I'm a side sleeper. I used to have the LG HBS750. This CI 400 is slightly smaller so I sleep with them just fine.
