Writing this after 2 days of usage. The laptop looks great with the all metal finish. It came with windows 11 out of the box also with office 2019 installed.You get 5.96gb of RAM usable. Also the AMD processor adds to some smooth transition effects as well as multitasking. This is great for non-gamers who do their daily office or home works.No heating issues noted so far, although you hear the fan spinning very often.Felt like the display could have been better with more viewing angles. Except that, display feeels wide enough with 15.6inches.

I was disappointed when I turned on my new laptop, there is a dead pixel on the screen. The pixel is dead, does not change colour and is always bright pink. Dissatisfied.

I am a student (programmer, web developer), reviewing after 1 month of uselaptop details -Name - 15s-gy0501AU -RAM-8gb -SSD-256gb -screen-15.6' -Processor-Ryzen 3 3250uI got it on republic day sale Rs.38,490(shown price) - Rs. 1,750(Bank discount) = Rs.36,740 and it was at NO Cost EMIit has -an ethernet port(which many don't have nowadays) -FHD screen, so the text and content looks good -nice keyboard -1 sd card slot -2 USB type-A ports -1 USB type C port -HDMI port -It has 1 8GB RAM installed and 1 empty slot, so it will be easy to upgrade to 16GB in the future if you want -the speakers are facing upwards, so they sound good -the trackpad supports 2,3 and 4 finger swipes and gesturesSoftware -windows 11 -AMD Radeon software -Microsoft office(YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE IT YOURSELF(just takes a minute))Performance -out of the 8GB ram, 2 GB is committed for GPU, so you can use 6GB -I simultaneously use these and it works great without any lags -sublime text(6-10 tabs) -vs code -chrome(8-10 tabs)(WhatsApp included) -2-3 terminals -Microsoft teams -edge browser(for pdfs) -file manager -the battery lasts for 2.5-3 hours in my use case as of now -the screen's brightness is good -turns on in under 10 seconds and shuts down in 5 seconds-I don't play many games but some games like Tankionline, Smashkarts etc run very smoothly(but fans start to run loudly while playing)-The warranty starts as soon as you connect to the internet. Overall performance is great with minimal multitasking. Almost 2month of usnig thereNo such issue of lag but its not for gaming like gta 5 & all big games.

Review of Amazon and the Seller==========================I am very much disappointed with the service received from Amazon and the seller. The serial number written on invoice and the actual serial number printed on back side of the laptop do not match. Without correct serial number on invoice one may face issues in warranty, ownership and other services in future. I raised the concern multiple times with Amazon Customer Care but all efforts went in vain. Till now I have not received a corrected invoice.Review of Warranty================Please be informed that the initial warranty starts when the seller buys the product from HP for the first time. I bought this item from Amazon in January, 2022 but the warranty started already since September, 2021. You will get an extended warranty (1 year) based on your purchase date. But make sure to check the warranty status on HP's website after purchasing the laptop. Amazon will give zero support in warranty related issues. Hence discussing with them for warranty is just waste of time. Rather coordinate with HP team - they are quite efficient, helpful and knowledgeable.Review of Product==============The product is running fine till 15 days of usage. I got a free upgrade to Windows 11 and it runs smoothly. The processor is good for normal daily jobs. I have not installed and used any heavy-weight game here. Out of 8GB of RAM only 6GB is available but that is sufficient for most of the works. Due to SSD the programs run fast. Laptop boots up fast too.1 month of free McAfee anti-virus and 100 GB of bonus space on Dropbox for the next 12 months will be available to you. No laptop bag will be provided.My rating of 1-star is purely based on the pathetic service from Amazon. For the product I would have given 4-star rating.

This laptop is meant for students and working professional for meetings, online class,coding, excel work.Pros:--Laptop is not lagging due to SSD, AMD ryzen 3 is better than Core i3 generation 10 and some what to -11th generation as well.-Built quality is fine.-Lighter than Dell vostro 3401 and inspiron.-Camera is Decent.-Windows 11 working fine, no issues faced after updates-Sound is good.-Key board is good.Cons:--Hinges can be better.-Not meant for gamers.-Screen quality can be better, 220 nits of brightness.
