To be honest I wasnt expecting much, it was more of an impulse buy as a backup gear knife to lash on a backpack or sling as I'm usually a blade snob who spends hundreds per knife but.... it's actually really nice. Edges are all perfectly rounded on the spine , tang , ring and also the handle scales and a nice sheath although the belt clip is kinda cheap but that was expected at this price.Things to noteNice build quality and definitely not too light or delicate at around .150 thickThe ring will fit a full finger or thumb easilyBelt clip leaves a bit desiredKydex is pressed nice and clean edges, holds tight and releases smoothThe handles are NOT black G10 it is black micarta and finished nice, I prefer micarta actuallyThe blade comes to be honest a lil' dull, but a quick touch up was all it needed to get literally shaving sharp. I'm not 100% sold this is D2 BUT it's pretty near identical if it's not. I have sharpened alot of d2 , S steels , M steels , high carbon CM etc etc over the years and this sharpens and holds that wicked edge of D2

I really like the design, it is lighter than I thought or prefer but feels good on my hands sheath is well made and holds knife very well and can be configured to different carrying options

Very nice little blade. Very high value for the cost. I use paracord of different diameters to modify knife handles when necessary and they always come out great. It not only fixes the handle width issue, it adds good grip with no slippage. Plus it looks cool while doing it. I got both c1292 and 1290 so I am including both knife images for comparison.Don't think twice, for the price/quality ratio, these knives are an excellent value.

Bought this one on a lark with all the good reviews. Happily surprised!! This is a very well made little knife. Came sharp as all get out. Just a few passes on my work sharp with fine belts and it is frightening. Grinds are all even and the brown micarta handles are well made and fit perfectly. The sheath is not the best admittedly, but with what I saved with this knife, another sheath is not problematic. A very nice, light weight little EDC knife that, if you can carry a dagger blade where you live, will serve you well if things should turn grim.

I have to admit I didn't expect much. Got it cause I liked the look of it. But it's much nicer in person. Feels good in hand. Kydex sheet is nice and sturdy and knife fits in perfectly. Very sharp right out of the box. Definitely a good buy.Update: been using this knife for a few days now. Just getting the feel of it and I have to say, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Feels great. Edge stays sharp and clip on the sheet is great. You can adjust it to your preferred carry style and is very comfortable. I think I might order another one in different color.

Overall it seemed well made, the kydex sheath was excellent, but the blade itself was extremely thin and I'm assuming that's why it arrived with a bent tip. Must've been dropped prior to boxing and because of either a soft temper of just too thin it was bent.

The Craftsmen ship is wonderful. It's nice! I make knives and I am very impressed. Very sharp on both edges. It could make a nice thrower even though it's not quite balanced. But if You do use it for that be careful not to cut Yourself. Yes it's that sharp. I did take mine right out of the box and honed it with steel to get it around razor sharp. I definitely would recommend this Knife. I haven't done any spark test on the blade for carbon content because I do not want to mess it up but it has the feel and the edge of D2 Steel just like they advertised it. Buy! Many uses for this Knife Even upside down carry. It clicks in to the Sheath wonderfully. I've worn this quit a bit upside down because it can mostly hide under Your shirt and I've been everwhere and Not had a single problem with it. I hope Everyone is having a Great day.
