This is more than just awesome!
I have heard reviews and many with less experiences with asian foods compared it to Ramen and Saimin. This is in it's own category. It is rice with some dehydrated stuff. But the chili pepper (Gochujong sauce - sorry for spelling it wrong) and sesame oil. Gochujong is a sweet chili pepper sauce, not like sweet chili sauce. So mix all that together, it is Bibimbap. If you go to a Korean Restaurant, get an order of Bibimbap and give it a nice mix and taste. It's the same. The real difference is that all the ingredients were freeze dried and reconstituted with hot water, or tap water if that is your preference. The flavor is good. Now, yes, it does have eggs but you really cannot taste it. It takes a lot of imagination to catch that flavor when it is all mixed in. If got creative, I would throw in freshly made steamed veggies and mix it in. I would even through in some teriyaki beef in this. Get yourself, at the least, some partly cooked bean sprout (still crunchy) or partially cooked ChoySum. Oh yah, it is great. There are some pickled radish in the Korean market you may want to include. Oh man it is the greatest instant food. By itself, it is good enough for sure. I treated a hungry friend who is particular to this and she was in instant love. I bought her a three pack. She is hooked. I wish price was cheaper per a bag but it is what it is. Love it as an emergency food item.

I'm buying more right now.
Add boiling/almost boiling water just under the fill line. Zip that sucker up, wait ten minutes (stir it if you want) then add the gochujang (not too spicy, I used the whole thing and it was exilirating, not sad-spicy!) and the sesame oil, and chow down. This will be great anywhere. I'm gonna carry one in my purse even, lol.

easy to prep
Received the three pack of woori Korean Military MRE Bibimbap Spicy Beef Rice Food on 2021/04/09. The expiration date on package 2022/01/06. Easy to follow prep directions. Used hot water, so only a 10min re-hydration. Added all of both seasoning packages. Hotness, hmm I'd say a step below Taco Bell's Diablo hot sauce. Taste, texture was fine, though freshly made Bibimbap is leagues above. But in a "rush", when lazy, camping or e-ration it works fine. Oh and just in case you think the package picture is representative of what the meal looks like re-hydrated, its not - looks more like fried rice.

Tasty!
Tasty! As we say in Hawaii : "Ono!" Just the right level of spiciness - I used the entire packet of sauce and packet of oil.
