L'oreal Wear Infinite Made for Me Naturals Eye Shadow Quads, Rose Fields, 0.16-Ounce (Pack of 5)

I strongly advise everyone not to buy these L'Oreal eyeshadow quads via internet or mail. I've bought several of them since the company started phasing them out (I can't resist a bargain!), and you simply cannot tell what you will get. From what I can tell, the quality of these eyeshadows was fairly uniform until a few years ago, when L'Oreal reformulated them and changed the packaging from tan to black. At that point, they also changed some of the colors in the palettes, but left the names the same. I've read a lot of reviews where people say they used to use one of these quads on a daily basis, but then the company changed the shades and they aren't as good now. I have the Forest Smokes quad, which is good quality, the Aishwarya's Greens quad, which is mediocre but workable, and Canyon Stone, which is one of the worst eyeshadow quads I have ever owned. I also have 2 more that I haven't tried yet. I recently saw another bunch of these at a closeout store, and I could definitely see the differences in quality among the palettes. So I would recommend that anyone reading this to only buy these if they can see the actual product and at least tell what colors and finishes they are getting. Otherwise it is a gamble!

I had not worn eye shadow for years and wanted an understated but defined look for my eyes during chemo treatment. This selection was advertised for blue eyes, which I found helpful in making my choice. I found the #4 color, designed for use as eyeliner, to be a little too light for that use, but I use it as an alternate lid color instead. There is a bit of "glitter," or pearlescence, to the whitish shadow (#2), but it is not very obvious and is quite appropriate for daywear. This item is a good value for the money.

As a porcelain skinned, blue eyes dark brunette, there were not (sadly) the perfect colors for me. There is a definite olive tinge to them, but they're still beautiful. It arrived in a well padded envelope to prevent breakage, so I'm going to pass this compact along to a friend. An excellent purchase for the price, but next time I'm going to the store to check colors before ordering the item off Amazon.

I like these colors and I like the Loreal products in general. The price was affordable. I have tried more expensive brands and I think the Loreal works about the same. I do use my own applicators.

I LOVE this quad. The periwinkle color looks great as a liner under my feet/blue eyes. Not very pigmented so I need to really apply it thick, but it's very pretty. Great for daytime smokey eye

This collection isn't very appealing on my brown eyes and fair skin. I only use 1 color out of the scheme because the others make my eyes look like I have an infection or bruising. My friend's eyes are green with darker skin color and she looks great with this color scheme.

This product is perfect for someone who wants a subtle look. When I was first applying it worried me that I didnt end up with a lot of the color on my brush (I use make-up brushes, not the applicay that comes with eyeshadow). It comes with intructions on the back for where each color should go. After application I was very suprised and pleased with the look.

Great colors in this quad! good price. they arent the best quality but they stay on for the duration of my 8 hour work shift so thats good enough for me
