This is the worst piece of furniture
This is the worst piece of furniture, if you can even call it that. .... Im very unhappy with this chaise sofa. Im a 130 lb. Woman , 5'5" tall average to smaller size person, you'd think I could stretch out on the thing , No , No, the other night i found myself on the floor in front of the sofa , not only is it to small, its poorly built Theres bubble wrap material in the arm rests, the cushions aren't fit for a foot rest, very stiff and hard, god knows what there made of. The only purpose it's served thus far is a bed for my cat...... Please take my advice, put your money into something you can actually use as a sofa.....

I Love It Because The Seat Is Not Deep
I love this sofa. It is shallow in depth, but I have short calves so for me this means my feet touch the ground when I’m sitting on it and thus it is very comfortable to sit on - more than the other more expensive sofas I have had. It’s also somewhat firm but again that makes it easier for me to sit on and I still find it comfortable to nap on. Even though we have two very comfortable recliners in the same room, the sofa is my first choice for sitting and talking. For watching tv, I would choose one of the recliners first. The sofa back is low, which makes it very attractive in our living room and does not detract from my comfort when I’m sitting and talking, but one time when I was reading and I began to slouch, I wished the back were higher. Instead I sat crossed-legged while reading to keep my back straight and I was fine. I could have moved to the comfortable recliner to read, but I wanted to stay seated on the sofa. The only negative about the sofa is the length of the chaise lounge. It’s a little too short to be super comfortable, but if it were longer it would be out of proportion to the depth of the sofa and not look good. So I might deal with this by buying an ottoman to extend it. Hope that works.

Going in the dumpster after one month
I needed a couch in a pinch while also on a budget.Likes: the fabric is actually of decent quality and the gray color is one I genuinely like. I like that you can switch the seat cushions around to prevent extensive wear in certain areas. Best of all, it was an affordable sectional for a mid-20-something’s small apartment!Dislikes: it broke after only a month of having it, which is incredibly unfortunate. I tripped over a blanket and fell down on it and heard a snap. Now it dips down right in the middle which is bad for someone’s back. Also the back is incredibly short and I need an additional pillow for my head for support if I’m sitting upright. The back is also very wobbly and not secure, meaning you’d need for it to be against a wall to feel secure. Assembly was kind of a pain, as I had to make a good deal of modifications (cutting holes in the black fabric, using different screws for stability, etc). The seat part is very shallow and it resembles like patio furniture with a shallow seat. Unless you are on the chaise, you feel like you could slip off. I actually planned on just getting an ottoman to make it work, until I broke the couch and realized another ottoman was not worth it. It’s just not a lounging kind of couch, best for a sitting room or a very casual hangout space. Two or three people can sit on it but it’s not a cuddle couch, as I took up the width and depth of it myself.I will be making the best out of the broken couch until I can afford a new one, but will be looking for one that more closely fits my needs.

Perfectly small, but not for everyday use and seat back assembly not obvious in instructions.
Small indeed, but perfect for tight living space. The assembly was relatively easy, short of a bit of confusion at step 2, attaching the couch backs to the seat bases. In the instruction diagram it's not clear that the washer and bolt are secured to the screw underneath of the seat bases. If you secure the washer and bolt before sliding the couch backs into their holes on the seat base you'll end up with a back that shifts around. See the youtube video (search 73022-40) of couch assembly for better illustration of step 2. Otherwise quick work that can be done solo!ADDITION: After one evening's use with two people the couch cushions dented in without returning to their original shape (I'm 5'4" 125lb, he's 5'10" 155lb). The ottoman portion of the couch was slightly higher than the seat of the rest of the couch which caused the chaise cushion to slope strongly. This couch may be OK for a child, or for a room that doesn't get used often, but for everyday living it would turn to a lumpy disfigured eyesore.

Comfortable Sofa to Lay Down
Cons:It's not super hard to assemble the sofa, but the bolt part for the back of sofa is a little bit confusing. I was able to find an assembly video by typing the sofa model name (73022-40) on YouTube. One of the metal legs' holes are not aligned well, which made it harder to put together. Just sitting up is not too bad, but it's not very comfy either because the back is a little bit short. The section out part is not long enough to make me stretch out my legs, which is a little sad but it's expected.Pros:The width of the sofa fits me perfectly. I can stretch my legs out with no problem and I am 5'4" tall. I think this sofa is comfy because my previous sofa was too soft. It hurts my back when I lay on it. This sofa is just right. Laying down is very comfortable.

Doesn't even last for 6 months
The cushion and pillow are of very low quality. Cushion leaves a compressed mark on usual seating area and becomes uncomfortable to sit in couple of months. You may develop back pain by sitting on the compressed low cushion seating as it's uneven and hard, and you may feel the spring which is extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this if you are going to use it regularly. I would suggest you to spend a bit more and get a quality product. I may be sounding a bit harsh, but I am literally gonna dump this after using this for a year.

Nice couch/chaise lounge
We bought two of these for our livingroom, the cushions are comfortable.. it is very sturdy and easy to assemble. My sister is 5'10 and she fits comfortably and I am 5'6 , the only thing I wish is that the seat could be a little wider- but it is very comfortable and a great purchase !
