Lightweight, fits perfectly, does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
The only thing that would make this product go from a 99.9% to a 100+% would be if there were some sort of ties or way to secure it to the crate, at minimum on two sides, preferably three, and a way to tie back the flap on the door side(s). We only use one of the doors on our 2 door 54” crate, and even though the fit is perfect, my dog has major separation anxiety from 3 years of being in and out of foster homes and shelters, and even though he has been with us for almost two years now, and we have done everything the trainers, and vet behaviorists, have told us to do, he still can’t handle being alone. And yes, we have even tried medicating him… He is a 100+lb Foxy Dane (½ Foxhound ½ Great Dane,) and his metabolism just burns through every medication we’ve tried… and seriously, we’ve tried everything, and every combination of meds, he might respond at first, but within an hour or two at most it’s worn off, and he is even more distressed, so we don’t medicate anymore. ANYWAYS! Back to the review!!! We needed the 54” X-LARGE crate, our dude is BIG even if he THINKS he’s the same size as a chihuahua! This cover is really the only one on the market that fits the crate, and is made with any quality. I absolutely love that the fabric is lightweight, but isn’t flimsy. The fit is perfect for the crate, the Velcro closures at every corner makes putting on, and using the cover extremely easy and fool proof! (Even my husband is able to put on and take off this cover without any confusion!!!) The ONLY… ONLY… ONLY thing that would push this cover absolutely ridiculously over the top is if there was the addition of ties to secure the cover to the crate, and having a tie back available for the door flaps to help keep them up and out of the way when the door is open. The reason I say this brings into my dogs separation anxiety that I described above. Because of his anxiety, he tries to pull whatever cover is on his crate off by pulling it through the bars. He is so goofy, he won’t go into the crate if it isn’t covered, and nice and dark, but once he is in, even if a flap is left up, he still tries to get the whole cover off, then freaks out more because now he isn’t covered… He wasn’t able to completely remove the crate cover the first few times we tried him with it, but he was able to pull it somewhat off and into his crate. (This does speak extremely well of the fit and quality of this item, because even in his frenzied state, the Velcro side closures held firm, he just found a way to lift the cover up before beginning to pull it down into the crate itself.) So I went to the craft store, bought some heavy duty fabric that I then made my own ties and sewed them onto the cover. I now have four ties at the bottom of one of the long sides, and three ties each at the bottom of the two short sides. I placed the ties so that there is one for each corner, and the middle is able to tie down as well. I use these to tie the cover securely to the bottom of his crate (below the crate pan and bed so he can’t get to them.) Just adding these ties to the three sides that we don’t use has made the BIGGEST difference! He now knows that he can’t pull the cover off anymore because it’s actually secured, (and yes… he tried HARD to see if he could figure out how to thwart my plan!) And surprisingly he actually calms down quicker now because he isn’t getting himself worked up over the cover anymore. As for the top flap ties. I added two Velcro straps to the front top seam of the flap where our door is, in order to be able to secure it up and out of the way before I open his door and am hit by a ridiculously happy nuclear war head escaping from his crate to get to me so he can show me just how happy he is that I’ve returned. The very first time we used the cover, before I made my additions, I didn’t anticipate the fabric panel sliding back towards me and the door, and it almost got caught up in the explosion of dog excitement. Had it actually gotten caught on the door, I can imagine it would have ripped, through no fault in the quality of the fabric, just through sheer force and violence of the door being thrown open from the full weight of my giant lap dog. :D and this was before I even secured the other sides down!!! But in all seriousness, this is a 99.99999% perfect product! I do love the fabric, the fit, and the quality. He loves his dark “den” when I am home, I just needed the extra little security that tie downs provide us for the times when I do unfortunately have to leave the house and he isn’t allowed to come with me. Soooooo if in the future these features are ever added to a “new version” of this same size cover, You have a perfect product tester ready and waiting!! ;) *wink, wink*

Great Value for Breeders and Multi-Dog Homes
I really love the value of this 3-piece set, it comes with everything I need. The crate itself is sturdy and well-made, the cover fits perfectly and helps the dogs settle down and sleep, and the bed is soft and comfortable. The only downside is that the faux‑fur bed sheds quite a bit, so I recommend washing it separately or the fur will stick to anything else in the load. I’ve bought three of the small sets and three of the medium sets over time because the value is just that good. As a Standard Poodle breeder, I rely on these for crate and potty training as my puppy litters get older, and they’ve held up really well. Whenever I need another crate, I go straight for this set.

Very disappointed/ changed to very happy
UPDATE: In my pictures you can see on the right side where the cage opened the velcro was not lined up where it was supposed to be. Trying to make it close in its spots was difficult at best. This made the whole cover not line up correctly. I asked people on line if they had difficulty and found not a single person had and no one had difficulty with it fitting either. I decided to try getting the next size larger. Unfortunately the next size was way to large and would have taken me much to long to see it smaller enough to fit correctly, so I sent it back and have struggled with this one which is horrible and looks ridiculous but is necessary so my puppy can get his sleep without any interruptions. Hopefully soon he will be trained enough so he won't have to go in the crate at all. If you purchase this and it does not fit don't be like me, sent it back and get another one. FEBRUARY 25, 2020 I took a chance an purchased another one of these. I was very sceptical since the first one didn't fit and no one else had the same problem. This came and voile: went right on all squares fit right on and when it came to the door where in my previous pictures it shows the velcro just does not line up. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see every one of the stickers stuck exactly where it was supposed to be. I'm very happy with this cover. I thi think my frenchie likes it as well as it gives him privacy. I don't allow him to lick his paws for it's gross, the noise he makes sounds like pigs in a pen eating shop and I told him he can do anything he wants in his crate. He doesn't mind going in there so much. He likes the doors locked and cover him up.

Cute, well fitted, velcro closing cover
While on the pricey side, for something you could whip up in 20 minutes on a sewing machine with one yard of fabric...lets face it, that sewing machine is just for show and you should just drop the $30 to buy this ready made dog crate cover. While the fabric is a little thin, it completely does its job and covers my dog crate. The fabric is pretty and goes with my living room decor aka millennial gray decor. It also looks much better than the rotation of blankets we would drape over the pen for doggy bed time. I purchased two different sizes to go with two of amazon's brand crates, both fit perfectly by paying attention to the length measurement. I would definitely recommend this product, only con is the thinness of the fabric. Buy it!

Great for crate training!
I actually bought two of these, and love them! They are so cheap, but so useful. I love how they make the kennel look. They aren't super decorative, but I hate that empty kennel, or chewy toy look in the living room. These cover the kennel so it looks better. This works to help calm the pups as well. She usually sleeps with us, but my one year old weimarainer would still whine in the kennel on the few occasions we would put her in there. I tried blankets over the kennel as I heard that they need the dark and to feel more contained so they can "den", but the blankets never did anything. I bought this as I was crate training my new pup, and happy suprise that with this on the kennel, my weimarainer does not whine. It fits well on my wire kennel from petsmart. Very easy to put on, you just drape it, and there are velcro tabs on each side to help keep it together. I love that it fits so well, because when I used blankets, the dogs were able to pull the excess inside the kennel, but when this is on properly they do not have anywhere to "grab it". If it gets dirty, I'm not sure if I could wash it due to the material, but I think it would wipe down very easily. If this somehow gets damaged, I will definitely buy again.

Great Crate Cover for Privacy and Comfort!
The MidWest Homes for Pets Dog Crate Cover is a great addition to my dog’s crate. It fits perfectly on my 24-inch MidWest crate, providing a cozy, den-like environment for my pup. The black fabric helps reduce light and distractions, making it great for nighttime or when my dog needs a calm space. I also love that it’s machine washable and easy to maintain. The material is durable yet lightweight, and it has Velcro panels for easy access to the crate doors. Overall, this is a well-made, functional, and stylish crate cover that provides extra comfort for dogs. Highly recommend!

Works well and exactly as described!
MY REVIEW: There’s nothing fancy or out of the ordinary about this product! It’s a simple crate cover that works well and comes exactly as described!!! It comes in neutral colors and has a classic pattern. The fabric seems to be of good quality too. And the most important part, it fits the crate perfectly! It has velcro on all sides/corners. Hence allows you to leave open whichever part of the crate you want exposed for your pet. It’s also quite reasonably priced. Since the first one we brought worked well for our puppy’s crate downstairs, we purchased another one for his crate upstairs. We’re quite happy with this purchase! SOME NEGATIVE REVIEWS: I did however read reviews about the crate cover coming off. In response to that, I’d like to add that the crate cover (although perfectly sized for the crates described) is not tight fitted by any means. In other words, if I just tug at it, it can come/slide off quite easily. So if your pet finds a way to nip at it while in the crate, and keeps going at it, there is a chance you will wake up to find the crate cover off. Luckily our puppy hasn’t done that yet, so we haven’t had to experience it yet. It may be a good idea to cover your pets crate with a sheet first and see if he has tendencies to pull on it. If not, then you should be ok buying this cover!

Very Happy with this cover
I had blankets over the crate for a while because my dog would pull on the cover and try to rip it. That stopped and so I bought the 54" size. I read the reviews that said the material was thin and it is. It does the job I needed. It looks so good, it provides privacy, and I can throw it in the wash when I need too without worrying if too heavy for the washer and dryer. I only wish there were more patterns for the larger cover.
