Great face
I got one Bob Mackie watch and loved it, so I was excited to get the Bob Mackie Black Glitter Watch for Women - Glitter Dial Mesh Wrist Watch Bracelet w/Adjustable Strap & Glitter Accents - Quartz Dress Watches for Ladies. I thought this watch looked awesome. In real life, I feel like the dial and strap are out of balance. It is a large dial and thin strap. I'm sure there are many who will like the style. The metal mesh strap is fastened by a buckle, and I don't see an easy way to add new rivets if a smaller or larger size is needed. I do have a smaller wrist and can use the second smallest hole, so I do think a good range of sizes can wear the watch, even with that issue. There are two pieces to hold the end of the strap in place, but they tend to slide off and aren't very useful. The face is as gorgeous as I thought it would be. It is super sparkly and reflects all sorts of colors. The hour and minute markings are very easy to read against this face. While I don't love this watch as much as I thought I would, I do really like it. In addition to looking great, it does keep time well.

More Name than Features
Bob Mackie is perhaps one of the MOST WELL-KNOWN designers. Some associate him with Cher among many celebrities. As a result, almost anything with a well-known designer’s name is going to be high-price. Whether it is high quality – that is another thing. But, who wouldn’t want to own something by a famous designer? While, in my case, it won’t ever be a gown or outfit – a watch is pretty good, and far more useful. So, why a 3-star rating?Right off, at the bottom of this sweet watch “box” (and this is really a pretty one too) is an MSRP of $395. I got a Michael Kors Gen 5E Smart Watch as part of the Vine program. That is currently selling for about $340.This watch is a simple “dial” watch. No smart features, no alarm, nothing to really put it at an MSRP of close to $400.Thankfully, this is (as of this review) a more reasonable amount of around $70. And, truthfully, you’re really ONLY paying for the Bob Mackie name. Why do I say that? While this is a LOVELY watch – there are some I’ve found here on Amazon (Anne Klein, Nine West) that are on par with this one. Some even more beautiful. All of those come in a giftable box, albeit not as fancy as this one. They’re also about half the price of this watch. That’s about ½ star to 1 star off for me. Nothing really sets this apart from any other “rhinestone” bezel, metal band watch out there. The one difference it has? BOB MACKIE.While metal (or rather stainless steel) watches look beautiful, it takes me a lot of convincing to wear one as I prefer leather due to some issues I’ve had with stainless steel bands. This has other problems that definitely deter me away from getting another one like this or recommending it.#1 – Removing the watch was a bit problematic. While there is access to the “restraining” tie on the bottom, it will take heavy duty scissors to remove, and you could end of scratching the box. I tried moving the watch and pillow aside to make it easier which was when I learned regular scissors didn’t work – I grabbed some heavy-duty “fabric” scissors I happened to have, and snapped the plastic tie. (Thankfully I had ZERO issues with the Anne Klein and Nine West watches I have).#2 – This is perhaps the BIGGEST one. If there was a ½ star rating, this next issue would be -1½ stars there …The clasp.I get the manufacturer doesn’t want it to fall off. But, I’ve never encountered such a DIFFICULT clasp to initially “open”. If you have dexterity issues with your fingers (or just difficulty using them) – this will not be easy to open at all. It might be almost impossible. Though, it could’ve been a flaw with only the watch I received.I tried prying it with nails (not a good idea – real or not, they will break or tear), my thumb pad (that was more than a bit painful to do), a plastic facial spatula (I didn’t want to damage this watch) – that didn’t work, and it broke a set of hard plastic tweezers. The only thing left would’ve been metal pliers which would’ve damaged it.I was beginning to think the clasp was GLUED together. Finally, after 15 minutes of prying and trying, I got it open. And, when it did, it wasn’t like other metal watch bands that only open so far so you can get your hand/wrist through. It completely opened, much like a leather band. There are no instructions at all for the watch. The card shown in the pictures is a warranty card. For almost the $70 price, for being a designer watch, this is pretty. I won’t deny that. But, the problems due tend to overshadow what could be a gorgeous piece. Each person’s experience might vary. This would make a beautiful gift though.

Large bling watch, adorned with gold, a scallop bezel, rhinestones, and logo. I chose silver, gold.
Pretty watch with bling adorned with gold-tone and silver—large size watch, including the considerable band size, needing links removed. (I am 135#, and small-boned). The bezel is scallop design, and the gold accents with rhinestones are around that, as well as circle of that inside, spanning across the notches telling the time—one big, one small hand. The black Bob Mackie logo, I believe, is what is displayed inside. The watch tells excellent time. As with most analog watches, the count starts as soon as the button gets pushed down; I prefer this method. I'm not too fond of anything complicated as smartwatches; classic methods usually appeal to me the most. The cleaning method you usually use with jewelry will be acceptable. Do not submerge in water too much; showering is fine, baths are not. I am happy I do not have to worry if I forget to take off this watch. I tend to wear watches for days on end until I need to change the style for a particular outfit.Great value. The price reflects the quality that Bob Mackie items bring. For me, this watch is too large heavy and the band. Many women will enjoy the bling.Enjoy!

Pretty
I really love the rainbow rhinestone inlay inside the watch. The band is adjustable, you don't have to take links off. It doesn't pull arm hair either, and feels super lightweight. Easy to set the watch and has a great readable display. Has two hold down metal sliders to hold down excess length. Overall really pretty womens watch.Update: I've worn the watch maybe 5 times and it has stopped ticking and has to repeatedly be wound. It stops every 10 minutes.

Amazing watch.. so fancy! Very stylish!
I love this watch so much that i had to get it resized but once i did, It is now my favorite watch to wear! It is blingy and gold! I love that it is so shiny and chunky! It is the perfect style/look/thickness... etc!! Highly recommend!! It is worth every penny imo. This would make a beautiful gift. It also comes in a super nice package that opens up like a diamond ring box! IT is on a soft little leather pillow! So fancy!

Very pretty
I really like the bling on this. It's sparkly but subtle in a way, so it's not too much. The size is perfect and looks very delicate on a woman's wrist. Perfect for a gift as it comes with a nice, attractive box. I was a little underwhelmed by it though, I thought it would be the kind of watch that really makes an impression but like I mentioned before, it's subtle. It's an everyday wear kind of a watch. Taking off a star because mine came with a small scratch on the band, which isn't really visible unless you know where to look. Everything else is great and I like the watch a lot.
