La historia está bien y la prosa, excelente; no le doy la puntuación máxima porque creo que el autor ha profundizado poco en los vaivenes de conducta de la protagonista. De hecho, su cambio de actitud al confesar su verdadera identidad se resuelve de manera un tanto sorpresiva y repentina. Pero en conjunto es una buena novela.

Das Buch wurde in einem Gymnasium für den Leistungskurs Französisch gewählt. Die Geschichte ist mit vielen Klischees behaftet, die das Bild eines so ernsthaften Kapitels der Geschichte verzerren.

Our heroine finds a job au pair with a Jewish family, specifically a Jewish family, and one asks oneself why this obsession. We delve into her relationships with the family and with her boyfriend. Not as complex, as full of suspense, as thrilling or, as concerns Jo and Maurice, as adorable as Un Sac de Billes which remains Joffo's unequalled masterpiece, but a very good read and well worth purchasing.
