Did what I needed. No defects and made fast work of my project. Bending 1/8 and 1/4 inch plexiglass window well covers.

Given, this not a complicated device to assemble, but typically, there are no or complete assembly instructions with the items from China. The adjustable power supply has no power switch or fuse. This is a safety issue!The hardware this unit comes with to connect the rails is not the correct hardware and is not easy to adjust and secure them properly. It would have cost them very little to purchase Star Through Hole Knobs to use with their current T bolts. Better would have been Sliding T Nuts with a threaded stud/ bolt with a plastic star knob. The digital thermometer included in the kit has no batteries. Additionally, there are no instructions where to mount the thermometer sensor to the unit for proper temperature monitoring or mounting clips.After unsinging it, there must be support rails on both sides of the heating element. If you are softening a large piece of plastic in the middle, the part that hangs over the side with no supporting rails, causes the plastic to lift off the unit.Overall, I feel they did the absolute bare minimum to produce this unit without any concern for ease of use, reliability, or SAFTEY! Unless you want to spend your time upgrading this unit so it is functional, I recommend saving time, cost and frustration by purchasing a better designed and built unit.
