I really wanted to get a decent pair of pants for an event I was participating in this past weekend. I decided to splurge and buy something completely new rather than my usual thrift store adventure.I'd heard about DXL but had no experience with the brand. However, I saw a pair of pants that seemed to be what I was looking for and I decided to go for it.This is a Big & Tall Essentials Men's Relaxed Fit Twill pair of pants. They are 100% Cotton Flat-Front Pants with Belt Loops. I ordered a size larger than my usual. I'm a wheelchair user and I often find that by the end of the day a waist band cuts into me and I start to feel uncomfortable. So, I typically wear a bit larger than I need.I ended up ordering three pairs of these pants. They are black and they are machine wash. They offer both back and side pockets. As noted, these are cotton which I tend to really like.The first time I wore them, they seemed more snug than I expected. I was actually a little concerned. However, after that first wear and especially after the first wash they've really relaxed and are both attractive and very comfortable.I wore these in a more formal situation. I will say I don't think they truly qualify as a "dress" pant, however, they're solidly business casual. I feel very comfortable wearing them casually or with a tie.Overall, I'm happy with these and would likely order them again. They do seem a little high priced to me, however, that's a combination of them being cotton and also a Big & Tall size. The cotton also seems to be quite durable. I'm definitely happy with these pants and glad I bought three pairs.

The pants are comfortable and loose fit. They also come with elastic in the waist. Actual size (fit to size). Beware they are NOT wrinkle free and must be ironed after washing.I do recommend and will be buying more soon.

I'm skeptical of buying clothes online without trying them on but I needed new pants. I tried them on and they fit better then I hoped for. Will need to see how they hold up long term. So far so good!

As expected

A little on the thinner side, but seems well made. But you have to iron or steam these. The ol’ fluff in the dryer won’t work. It helps, but still quite noticeable.

My husband loved the pants I ordered for him. Lol, he wants me to order 3 more pairs.
