Perfecto instrumentos

This keyboard does so much it could be intimidating at first. The manual only scratches the surface. I've had a korg krome for a while and wasn't inspired much by it and it sat. Having both now is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I've tied them both together with a yamaha mixer with effects and can come up with some interesting effects. Videos really help that you can find online. In short the possibilities are endless and only limited by your lack of imagination. I could write all day about this keyboard, but don't have time. cya.

I am not a stupid person. I have a Ph.D. In computer science and generally have no problem understanding technology. But I have met my match in this keyboard. Incredibly opaque user interface. It sounds great though.I just wanted to change the arp pattern. Spent ten minutes in the manual and got no clue. Looked on YouTube and there's a video on using and arps. It's an hour long and its just the first of three episodes on using the arp. What in the world? Why should it take 3 hours to explain how to use an arpeggiator? I get its a sophisticated piece of gear but even so; all the more reason to try to make it comprehensible.That just gives you an idea of how ridiculous this thing is to understand. You're getting a lot of power for your money but be aware that if you aren't already in the club, you are in for a world of hurt trying to make sense of it. Definitely find YT tutorials because the manual is not very illuminating.I expect people who have mastered this think I’m an idiot for not starting at the beginning and learning everything before jumping to changing arps, but of the many keyboards and synths I have encountered prior to this, changing the arp pattern for a preset I am currently playing has never been opaque. It should be easily immediate, and not require having to understand multiple other concepts first. I simply don’t believe that you can’t design a keyboard that is both powerful and intuitive to use. This is definitely not it. It’s going to take a lot of time and patience. But I might go try out an alternative before investing that, because time is a precious commodity.
