Work great
My go to strings for many years. They last pretty long, and price is right. The sizes are a bit unique but the strings sound great.

Bright Tone, Great for Bending the G
Used GHS boomers years ago, this is the first set i have installed in a long time, I was putting together my own custom set of Ernie Ball strings, and seen these, gave them a try, and I do like them. Good bright tone, good bottom end and good high end, not to twangy. Seem to be real smooth when new and fresh. after a couple weeks they dulled down a little but still sounded good. Seem to be really stable in E flat tuning.

a good set to keep on hand
Bright, brash, projecting, and easy on the fingers. Bends, pulls, pushes, hammer-ons and snap-offs all apply with ease. I purchased the .010 for personal preference.

I forgot how good GHS Strings were.
I hadn't ever used GHS electric before, and not in this gauge. I had started using GHS about 40 years ago though in acoustic strings. Anyway, I wanted to try something different on my American Deluxe Strat. I must admit I was really impressed with these strings. The offset sizing of the strings are different compared to what I'm used to, but very comfortable. Gilmour started using these in 79. The gauges of the strings are 0.10 -0.12 -0.16 - .0.28 -0 38 - 0.48. He uses this size on his Strat . Anyway, they bend well, and have a good bright sound. They are light enough to bend, and stiff enough to chord and pick. I've had a set on mine now about a month and played daily, and haven't needed to change them yet. And you sure can't beat the price. According to the package, it says Gilmour uses GHS on his Les Paul too, in gauges .10.5, .13, .17, .30, .40, .50.. I haven't tried them on my LP yet.. But I will, and will post a review when I do.. Likewise when I try them on my PRS. Already have them on my Telecaster. If you haven't tried these, give them a shot. For the price, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I wasn't. And just FYI, I posted a review on the GHS Bright Bronze acoustic. They sure made a difference on my Taylors..

Great blend of strings!
David realized the importance of a lighter G and B. If you like to bend, this is a great set. They seem to last a long time too.

Tone and tuning stability.

Great option!
I was looking for something like this to tune my E string down to a D without as much flop as my .46 E on my standard set of 10’s. Much better for sure with the .48 on the 6th string.

Buena Marca
Muy conocida la marca pero no son muy aptos para blues estilo Tejas. Termine' usando un paquete como respalda para las cuerdas que se rompieron
