Superb lamps! Come in a small box and 'folded' like a foldable walking stick. Easy to assemble. Heavy base with rubberised ring underneath to prevent slipping. Elegant slim design. Bought 2 of these for use as bedside lamps for reading and they fit perfectly between the bed and the bedside cabinet , and half the base fits under the bed. Remote control easy to use and I can even turn off my husband's lamp with MY remote if I point it towards his which is great! Can be turned off by simply pressing the button on the lamp shaft too.Lots of different light settings and the different light types are fantastic. The timer feature could be used to allow 60 secs to get back into bed after turning it off or 10 mins if you know you fall asleep quickly while reading. The nightlight is just enough not to disturb someone else.The head is VERY flexible, moves easily into the perfect position and stays where you put it.I hope they last for many years because we are thrilled with these so far.

Really like this light it's used for needlework, reading, jigsaw puzzles etc. A little care needed when assembling it, it comes in 3 parts and the power cable that is routed through the centre needs to be pulled a little to remove the excess slack, this is not difficult and NO tools are needed. The remote control is great and the light settings (colour and brightness) are very useful as is the off timer. So pleased with the product we purchased another one for an elderly relative who also loves it!

The first thing to say is SHOCK!! From the visual I had assumed the light part, being round, had a light bulb in it. NO SUCH THING! It comes with a hole in the middle and a light, I guess you would call it, that goes around the inside of the outside circle. Easy to assemble but it took some time practicing to work out how to make it go on/off. Still have not been able to find all the things it is supposed to do however definitely provides good reading light: that is easy and instant to get to go on, it is the switching off which is rather more complex. All that said does as required: providing a bright reading light.The major NEGATIVE however is what/how/where does one replace the 'bulb' ( if it can be called that) once it goes/blows. Nothing provided or in instructions to assist with this problem nor anything on Amazon to help. This could end up being a very serous flaw.

I write material for others to use and wanted a lamp when I'm preparing work on my Laptop in a spare room. This lamp is modern, slimline, versatile enough to suit me perfectly; to be able to change easily the colour and intensity of the illumination is a boon. And the stem is flexible and easy to position. There is more than enough light for my needs. Having said that, there is a night setting (dim) and a timer, both on the remote so it should be good as a bedside lamp also.I don't often give 5* and two aspects might have prevented this this time: assembly was easy but one needs to be careful with the flex which could become trapped by clumsy assembling; and the lamp is so new that I cannot comment on reliability. However, I'm so pleased that I'll do what I never do and give 5* despite these points! (Hope I don't regret it!)

I did a lot of research before choosing this floor lamp which has satisfied completely my need for a good reading light. It is smart and well made. There are several colour temperature and brightness options to suit every mood and condition. Control is by the touch-sensitive control on the vertical section or by the neat remote which, unfortunately, does not come with the two AAA batteries needed. Both methods work well.Installation is easy but caution is needed. The cable needs a strong steady pull from the bottom to enable the sections to be drawn together and joined. When screwing them together, care is needed to avoid the the possibility of cross-threading.I can't comment on its durability but so far it is doing all that is claimed.

This is an excellent stylish unobtrusive reading lamp with a wide range of light adjustments, both brightness and colour. Very sturdy construction. I am pleased that I paid a little more to have a remote control because it would be awkward to adjust the light settings whilst sitting in the chair with the lamp positioned behind my left shoulder. Simple to assemble; be sure to pull the cable through each section at a time before attempting to screw together.

There is no doubt this is a good lamp. I loved the way it was packaged - like a small briefcase, and easy to assemble. As someone said the remote requires line of sight to the receiver, but that's a minor quibble.Unfortunately I had to scrap mine after approx 6 months - during which I often moved it slightly each day (adjusting from work-from-home position to position a few feet away) - this caused a screw thread that is 1/3 rd way up the pole to fail!(I've changed to the 'TaoTronics LED Floor Lamp, Modern Standing Light' - this lacks a remote, but the pole is made of more segments, which I'm hoping will be less of a 'single fail point', so far so good?)

Easy to put together as per other reviews to make sure the cable is tight when putting together undo the 2 screws for the cable clamp and pull cable down before screwing the stand togetherThe light is not super bright but it does the job for readingThe mood lighting is nice and the remote works well
