Much better than expected for the price
Great bang for the buck. I am used to working with professional over the ear style mics in a live sound setting (costing several hundred dollars), and needed something at home to use for Skype and PC game voice chat. I like to use my speakers instead of headphones, so wanted an over the ear mic that would put the actual mic very close. Saw this and decided to give it a try, not really expecting it to sound very decent at this kind of price. Sounds much better than I was expecting, pretty decent actually. The pop filter is quite loose, and will fall off, so I just wrapped the end in a tiny bit of tape. If this mic cost 80 or 100 bucks, I would have probably deducted a star for that, but at this super low price, I consider it a bonus that it has one at all.

DISAPPOINTING...Not as good as the mic that came w/unit...
Unable to stabilize it on my ESR and sound is inferior. Will be sending it back...too expensive for mediocre equipment.

Decent Microphone with a couple issues
The mic is sensitive and does its job but I do have two items that kept them from being a 5-star rating...1. The positioning of the mic is not adjustable in length, so with my big head, the mic is halfway down my cheek versus close to my mouth. I had to unbend the wire and rebend it so that it reaches my mouth correctly, but then the entire ear piece keeps falling down and wont stay in place.2. The foam wind cushion falls off very easily. I have had to use a small rubberband wrapped around it to keep it on the end.Other wise it does what it says and is reasonably priced.

Great for the price
This microphone is great for the price, and for the price I am giving 5 stars. If it could be improved, I would request something to hold it in place , a rubber strap behind the ear, or something, because it just hangs on your ear lobe, and if you do anything like me (teaching music and dance in general classroom) the mic will sometimes fall. Also the wind protecting tips get lost, they are pretty loose. I wished I could get more, or they are smaller. But once again, sounds great, and I would definitely buy again for the price

Works great in crowded areas with competing sound.
Worked quite well with the VoiceBooster Voice Amplifier 12watts Black MR1505.The little foam ball just fell off, so I didn't use it. As long as the end of the microphone isn't directly in from of your mouth, I don't think it mattered. The sound was clear and did the job.Only disappointment was that I wish it were a bit more flexible, so that it could be bent/re-shaped to be a little more refined fit.

Too flimsy, cheaply made, disappointed
The boom mic wire is too flimsy, would not stay in place on my ear or in talking position, sponge protector kept falling off, had to speak directly into the mic by holding it to my mouth - it's suppose to be omni-directional. Ended up buying a very expensive Audio-Technica over-the-ear mic which works super- I suppose you get what you pay for.

Terrible
Just don't be tempted to purchase this microphone may look good but it is garbage.
