MaresMares Trilastic 5mm Sneaker Sole Dive Boot, Mens 6/Womens 7

Good dive boot with good cushion, but not at all like the picture suggests. The picture, and the name suggest a sole much like what you find on a sneaker and that is not what is in the boot. But it is a dive boot, not something I am going to go running in so I really don't need a sneaker, just a good soled boot that allows me to stay in it and walk comfortably in between and after dives, and this boot works ok for that. But several reviews also noted the sole is actually black, which looks better than the white. The toe box is very roomy, wide feet should be pleased with that. However, I am a female with small narrow feet so I will put a real sneaker insole in it. I think the sizing is correct. I wear a 6.5 US women but most dive boots I take a women 7 and this boot fits correct in length.

I haven't used them in the water, but they fit great. I have wide feet and this is the first boot I've had that provides some arch support. It's also a lot sturdier than my Sherwood Scuba boots, and the Scuba Pro ones I had before that. I wear a 7.5 Wide (women's) and bought the Men's 8/Women's 7s, and they are perfect. They fit so snugly in my fins that I think I'll have more control. The groove to hold the fin strap in place is great, too. Lastly, I bought rugged terrain boots last time and though it was fine for a bit of hiking to the dive site (Bells to Blue Hole- Egypt) or sandy/small rocks upon shore entry, they didn't work great for large, rocky entries like Tulamben. I can already feel that these are more like actual boots and would protect me and my sensitive ankles/feet.

I’ve had a pair of this same exact scuba boot for many years and have heavily used them. They were starting to fatigue. I wear them primarily for scuba but they are great for any water activity where I want to protect my feet and ankles while having good grip. I ordered the new pair and they fit exactly the same as my ancient ones, same great construction, materials, everything! I’m so happy and set for another decade.
