Rating 3 stars because the Oittm app does not have the support for Google Assistant in it yet(at least not on android), only the Alexa integration, I had to get another app(that appears to work with MANY different brands of smart items, but never mentioned anywhere) and it will work with Google Assistant/Google Home, the App you need instead of the Oittm app is called "Smart Life", now there is one problem with this app, if using the app to control color, they are not accurate, however, telling google assistant/home a color, it gets it correct every time..TL;DR - If you plan to use google assistant, download the app "Smart Life" and connect to that instead of the Oittm app as it only supports Alexa currently.The unit itself is very easy to connect and get going, it simply replaces your standard power adapter/RGB remote control module, it does NOT work in conjunction with the IR remote, it replaces it.You can also press the button on the controller to cycle through your colors and basic effect modesI would love to see better integration with google assistant/google home through the Oittm app, however literally all of the different apps I have for different brand smart devices is based on the "Smart Life App" just renamed/skinned for the various brands, they all pair using the same instructions as wellIf it werent for the app integration issue, it would easily be a 5 star review

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  All in all I am very happy with the wifi LED strip controller and will be using it in future project for general ambient lighting for my display shelves. The original price of $34 seems a bit expensive but at around $20 the price is perfect for building it into a project as a permanent component. I know it is possible to build something equivalent out of off the shelf parts, but this comes out of the box ready to go with all of the hard work already done.I've made a rather long review/test video but in a nutshell:- setup was quick and painless (although it seems some android devices are not compatible with the provided app).- app is straightforward and easy to get going with my favorite feature being custom color wheel selection and custom on/off at set times of day, but it would be nice to see more features such as "programming" more complex custom lighting color sequences (this can easily be updated in the app for the future)- works with cheap and easily available RGB LED strips, but would also be nice if it were compatible with ws2812 individually addressable strips as well for some really neat lighting options- included 12V 2A adapter is a nice addition and beefy enough to run quite a length of strip at reasonable brightness

Overall: Really cool piece of tech. Compared the original white controller that my led strip came with, this is way cooler! Setup is pretty easy, and the size of the physical unit is actually smaller than my original "dumb" controller. The kit comes with everything you need, including the power supply. All you need to get going is an led strip.Cons: Can't think of any so far.Pros: Really small unit. Easy to setup. Awesome smart features.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The Oittm Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Strip Controller is great if you have multiple cheap/affordable light strips around your house and you would like to control it with your phone or with Amazon Alexa. It's simple to setup and you are able to turn it on/off, schedule when to have it turn on/off, set a timer, and change the colors. All of this on both the app and with Amazon Alexa. It adds a nice touch to the setup and it makes your place that much closer to a Smart House/Apartment

So frustrating.Be prepared to have your LED’s go offline often in the app.If you leave them on a single color 24/7, and only want to alter the color when the controller feels like connecting to the app, then this is the controller for you.I have reached out to Customer Care multiple times. No responses.3 stars because they do look great and have a function. Would give 2.5 if that was an option.

Its a great product however my low star rating is due to the power supply is not dependable i got 3 and all the power supplies are burnt put. The las only about 5 months.
