I hate pull chain lights. They break all the time. This works like a charm in one of our large closets. Setup is easy.

Installed easily. Looks nice.Two things to keep in mind when purchasing:1) There is a pronounced click / gentle twang sound from the relay inside the bulb unit when switching between on / off. This is likely the case for all remote electrical switches, and not unique to this brand or design - just the nature of a relay being turned on and off. No louder than the sound of the turn indicators in a car. I've come to enjoy the satisfying little twang it makes when I turn the light off.2) Performance may vary if you use an LED bulb. With one incandescent-halogen bulb, the on/off signal from this wall-mounted switch is basically instantaneous. With certain LED bulbs the "off" signal can be delayed. As I'm replacing bulbs in my house I'm learning about how much variety now exists between LED bulb manufacturers, and how different switches behave differently not only between brands of bulbs but also their wattage. I experimented with 4 different bulbs with this remote switch:-GE incandescent halogen 43W (60W replacement) A19-Ecosmart non-dimmable LED 5.5W (40W replacement) A19-Globe® dimmable LED 8W (50W replacement) R20-greenlite™ dimmable LED 8W (65W replacement) BR30All the bulbs respond instantly to the "on" signal from the remote switch. However, with the Ecosmart and the greentlite, I need to hold my finger on the "off" signal for about one full second before it triggers the light to turn off. Sometimes "double-clicking" the "off" switch would do the trick, but not always.Incandescent bulbs will likely work as expected out of the box with this remote switch. If using LED bulbs, your mileage may vary, but only in that you may need to hold your finger on the "off" switch for a beat longer.I'm about to replace several bulbs with Philips as they're rated for higher compatibility with switches / dimmers. I'll update this review if I find a low-watt Philips that plays well with this remote switch.In my setup, the switch is 50in. / 127cm from the bulb unit, with no other electrical devices around for 15ft. / 4.57m.

Item was as pictured. Works great we installed it on a light fixture that only had a pull string. Making it easy to control the light.

I used it in a closet to replace a pull string light. It’s easy to install and it looks good. It works pretty good except the off switch. When you try to turn it off it doesn’t work. So I installed the switch upside down and now it works perfectly.

I ordered 2 of these on 20th of December.One of them quit working today 3rd of March.Bulb works fine and the switch seems to be working but the switch will not turn the receiver on.

Worked perfect for my father-in-law. He didn't have to mess with the string all the time

Works great when you first install it and then...never again. I bought this thing so that I could get rid of a pull chain, but, as the switch literally does nothing except light up red, I ended up having to yank the chain anyway and then promptly pulled the switch out of the wall and hurled it across the room. I don't understand all these other reviewers mentioning what a finicky piece of equipment it is and then still leaving 4/5 stars. Wtf? Buyer beware.

Had the Xodus Innovations one twice. First one started buzzing with no successful fix. Second one ordered just failed out of the box. This one seems way better.

Fonctionne bien. Il faut juste bien appuyer sur le bouton, mais je suis très satisfaite. Il n'y avais pas d'interrupteurs pour la lumière de ma cuisine. C'est une solution simple!

This remote light switch works great in my wine cellar where I could not wire a switch. I installed one over 5 years ago and it still works like a charm.
