PMHNP-BC Certification Practice Q&A

Helped me pass the ANCC board February 2024. Some trainable weren't there but majority were. I would definitely buy again.

Guys this book is great. I feel like the exam was worded very similar to the questions in the book. The content was also spot on. I did the practice questions in the beginning and a couple days before exam did the 2 actual tests at the end of the book and timed myself. Would reccomend :)

This book is a great review for the boards. Gives information right after the test questions.

This was the only book I used for the certification test. Very helpful and pass guaranteed.

Perhaps some of these questions provoked thought, but they covered a lot of information I did not see in any other source, including the purple book. I’m not sure clouding your brain with more theories and uncommon meds is the best idea. It is probably not worth the money if you are trying to do your review on a budget.

A good number of small quizzes initially in text. The review answers are immediately after the quizzes. Helpful for rationale and retention

I am puzzled how this book made it past the editor. Coming from a reputable publisher I expected more. What a shock. Please don't waste your time, or your money. After the 7th error I shut the book and went back to my Fitzgerald review book and audio lectures (I passed the exam). The errors in the book were so obvious (they wrote Dementia when they meant Depression) , They wrote one psych rating instrument when they meant another... etc... It made me wonder if there was material that I didn't already know... and they had given the wrong answer.. I wouldn't have known and it would have harmed my chances on the board exam. Please stay away from this book.
