Very mixed reviews on this rug but I'm 100% pleased. Nice, thick, high pile, gorgeous light to white leaning ivory, soft soft soft. My cats compete for it and it was larger than expected, even though the title says it may come larger than listed. Snuggly, warm, no odor. Very very happy with this purchase, I have a few spots I'd like to get more for. Thank you!

I have been wanting one of these pelts for a long time but they are pricey....i took a chance a bought this based on the ONE review...this is super soft and luxurious!!!! VERY high quality. I put this on the floor beside my bed . It feels very fluffy and silky. I would definitely purchase this again. I wish they had a variety of sizes and colors, however. BUT buy this and you won't regret it

The rug is quite different from others that I have. The wool is very long, 3+ inches, and not as dense as my others; the longer wool gives it an "elegant" appearance. I suspect that it would not hold up as well under foot as the denser ones, but it is absolutely beautiful draped across the couch. I would happily buy another. If you are looking for a rug that will get heavy foot traffic, this one may not be the best choice. However, if you are looking for one that looks luxurious and wish to accent an area, you won't go wrong. I haven't attempted washing it yet, but definitely would use the gentlest methods to prevent the hair from tangling.

Bought two of these to dress up a sleeper sofa that's a teensy bit uncomfortable and spare looking. Extremely pleased with their softness and fluffiness. Now just sitting around, decadently piled in furs.

I'm confused... "Real Australian" rug with "made in china" printed at the bottom. The back does not feel or look like sheepskin, it looks and feels synthetic. I can't tell if it's a cover they added or if the rug itself is not real.The other side is fluffy and soft, but I was really hoping for a genuine pelt.

This lamb skin is so comfortable. I had back nerve surgery and I could not stand to lay down on the hospital bed. My skin was so sensitive to touch that I was in sheer torture to try to lay down. I ordered the imitation sheep skin first. The imitation sheep skin helped a little bit with the pain, but I still was very uncomfortable to try to lay down on the bed. I then ordered the real sheepskin. I placed the real skin on top of the imitation skin. I needed all the protection that I could have from the bed. The real sheep skin was so soft and comfortable that I was able to lay down on the bed. I also discovered to my amazement that the sheepskin seemed to provide a warmth to the area where the surgery was located. That warmth made my laying on the skin just that much better. I am continuing to use the sheep skin and e joying the warmth on my lower back. There isn't any reason for that area to feel any warmer than the rest of the skin. I am just so glad that it does.

Item arrived from Pakistan, and smelled of "cheap perfume". I'm chemically sensitive, so had to air out the pelt outside. Pelt is acceptable size, texture is a bit "sticky", but is nice and thick. So consider it overall to be ok. Wonder where the pelt was actually processed (? Pakistan). Also wonder who the actually seller is (Shontell Prudhomme, ArcticRugs, or other vender mentioned in other reviews.

I wanted to update my review on this sheepskin. It has fluffed up a lot. It is warm and seems stain resustant. I am very very happy with this sheep skin. I apologize for my earlier negative review. I would purchase this again. When it arrived it was so flat! Now I realize that was the best way to stack and ship.I just put it into the dryer (no heat) with some Alpaca hides. They all fluffy and clean!!! Get one and give it a chance to fluff. You will love it.Mine arrived yesterday and looks like the 39$ one. I am not pleased with it at all and shall be returning it. It may be real but it looks fake. The fur and the back lok manufactured and not right.
