Good advice
After 40 years working for a large defense company, I have given or reviewed countless presents. This book captures the challenges for presenters and gives good advice on how to deal with the challenges. Useful not only for inexperience presenters but also those who struggle with public speaking

This book is a wonderful resource for people new to the training and presentation world. Very helpful, easy to understand concepts and tools to help anyone be more successful in that arena. The author does a wonderful job of reviewing all the key points of delivering quality presentations.

Leaves no important detail unmentioned
The information in this book will benefit anyone interested in understanding what best practices to use in presenting, as well as why these practices are important. The psychology behind what will inevitably make or break a presentation is an important factor to consider, and in this book, the author provides thorough detail when considering tools necessary to be as successful as possible. He references others’ tried-and-true works, provides statistics, describes what it means to be prepared, the importance of not only knowing your audience, but how to truly engage with them, why practicing is essential, how to manage obstacles, why your appearance (attire, posture, etc.) matters, etc.From the beginner to the more experienced presenter, in The Presenter’s Dilemma you’ll find valuable information and undoubtedly important reminders to help keep your presentations sharp and engaging. I highly recommend this book for those entering college, or any profession which will require addressing audiences and/or doing presentations in front of groups.I listened to this book on Audible and increased the speed to 1.25x

A Guide to Becoming an Effective Speaker
In this book, the author explains the basic principles and best practices, with preparation and rehearsal being paramount, that are necessary for anyone wanting to become an effective speaker.For the experienced presenter, the explanations and tips remind you of what is important and valued to an audience. I especially liked the section on storytelling. There is definitely an art to it and is an area where we can improve to make presentations memorable and applicable.The Presenter's Dilemma is a must for the toolbox!

Clear, Present and Concise Information
I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers in saying that this book contains valuable tips, preparation tactics, best practices and what to be cautious about in public speaking. The author’s subject writing obviously demonstrates that he has a lot of practical experience in this field. Furthermore, the author also practices what he preaches, in that this short book delivers key points and avoids a lot of superfluous information. Must read for anyone who is preparing and presenting information to a group.

Direct instruction and clear examples
I like that there are clear examples and instruction when explaining the Do’s and Don’ts for using visual aids by the presenter. I wish some of my work colleagues could have taken a lesson from this book before they presented training material to us. I will definitely have my kids read it to enhance their presentation skills in high school, college and beyond.
