Easy to install and works good as those that you use a hair dryer on. After a year the plastic stayed coming off the Velcro tape. The tape isn’t as sticky as it used to be so the plastic keeps falling down. Hope the Velcro tape is sold separately so I can redo it. I was hoping I could put up and forget for years to come. Disappointed.

Kept our chilly dining room much warmer this winter. Trapped cold air from rolling off large windows. Will leave in place all year, hidden beneath a sheer curtain, which I wouldn recommend to hide the sight of shiny plastic sheeting.

Easy to install, the only issue is the tape side does not always stick to the frame or wall around the window. It continues to detach! However, the product is very good and I saw a reduction this winter on my electric bill. It does the job.

While this was easy to cut for my needs the rest was not ideal. Firstly the tape is very sticky at first and while that’s normally not a bad thing it DOES make it tough to apply as there is very little room for error. The other downside is I said sticky “at first”. I was using this to cover over the backside of an exhaust fan window opening. Once the summer months were in full swing and the area got hot the tape basically pulled off the plastic sheet and I walked upstairs one day to discover both layers of Velcro around the opening but the plastic sheet laying on the floor. I used leftover materials to redo the entire thing only to have the plastic hanging off again less than two weeks later. I guess if you’re not in a warm/hot climate this might work better? If you’re using only in the winter maybe this wouldn’t be an issue? But if I have to buy my own higher quality tape and Velcro to withstand the heat then it defeats the entire purpose of buying this “kit” with all the items included. Cannot recommend.

This is excellent! I've tried using the thing one-time use ones before, but not only are they a pain to stay on but they don't seem to last long before they rip. This is so much better! It's a lot thicker, so it's not going to tear or rip. The adhesive works. I was a little leery because I have cats, and they have often ruined the thinner film. That wasn't an issue with this because it's thicker. The only downside, however, is that because it is thicker, it's not as clear as the one time use stuff. I also found it was difficult to get it perfectly flat, so you can see it from distance. I suspect if you had another person helping you and had a little more patience that you'd be able to get it tighter. That didn't really bother me so... Very happy with this, and it cost maybe twice what I'd have paid for a single use one. I suspect I'll get many reuses out of this.

Tried on my around my windows, doesn't stick after a while. Starts coming off at the ends. I'm sure if I take them off for the summer, the whole thing would come off. I cleaned and cleaned around my windows to ensure it would stick and stay to no avail .

It works good but while not complicated to install it is awkward and you need to be able to carefully measure and cut the material. You need a big table to spread out. Once everything is properly cut and the Velcro is applied the rest is fairly easy and straight forward. It definitely made a difference in helping to insulate a drafty window.

Not bad. Sticks well and Velcro works well. I just didn’t measure my window before installing. Good quality though! Cats can’t claw through it. Been removing the Velcro and then putting it back on it it seems to hold up pretty well.

Really worked and sleep savor. Not more wind comes from window and windows can still be opened for ventilation

works as advertised. sealed 75% or the cold air in winter canada window . very happy with product. the top section un sticker a few times i just pressed it back and on the third time it stocked for good.. also was a weird curved top window.. prob be fine on regular rectangle window.

I previously have tried the ridiculous blow dry film, shrink ot type, what a wastecuf time, money, expensive rubbish. This is much better to use, cut, hang, secure it cuts out some noise, not hugely, bug full it a fraction. I cannot say uts instant warmth, heat, but I will say it reduces the jmpactvif cold overall entering my flat as I have a lot ic cold window spaces. Or extremely hot in summer I.e. 41c south west facing. So this helps control a bit better cold, heat temperature by a few degrees, with other items, blackout curtains, linings thermal etc. The fact it can be wiped, can be removed, reused, cleaned, stores, is so much better then anything else I tried prior. Plus 2 packets, did 6 windows. Plus spare bits. Definitely worth it, as cuts build up of moisture, damp air, condensation building inside. Worth it, I am asthmatic and got illness, so worth money to cope with winter or high temperatures
