Disappointed that the pen was not more weighted. Its super light weight , not what I was hoping for. My favorite fountain pen is a faber castell and it has some gravitas to it. Makes for lovely writing in my experience. These lightweight pens just don't do it for me.I wish pens had some kind of weight marker so I could find another pen with gravitas. It's hard to find another like the one I love when I don't have pen stores in my current city.

I absolutely love to purchase fountain pens and one of the worse things to find is a leaking pen. This Fabewr-Castell Fountain pen's grip is surprisingly easy and softer than expected. The small raised dots are just enough to have something to hold on to, but not enough that you notice it's out of the ordinary. It feels great to write with this excellent pen. I am sold on this brand!

Der Faber Castell Füller Grip 2010 ist ein recht einfacher Füllfederhalter für Tintenpatronen, der aufgrund seiner Gummierung sehr gut in der Hand liegt und diese so auch bei längerer Schreibarbeit nicht ermüden und verkrampfen lässt. Der Grip 2010 ist ein kostengünstiger Alltagsfüller, der seine Aufgabe ganz hervorragend erfüllt.

It came with only one ink cartridge and a dummy cartridge. Did not accept a Pelikan converter. Something in its barrel sets stop to it. I found a Chinese converter instead that was smaller in size that fitted well. The pen in itself is quite light and plastic but has a size that makes it to fit well into my hand even unposted. Its M nib writes smoothly and wet on different papers that I tested it on. This is opposite to my experience with the EF nib of a previous purchased Faber-Castel pen that was very scratchy. Also the price this time was quite lower which makes this a good purchase.
