I have about 5 of these now, dotted around the garden, for exterior tree lights, pond pump plugs etc. They are really simple and effective. However, they do lose a star as they are not 100% watertight. I doubt anything is. All that means is just check them once every so often, check that water hasn't gotten inside. Easy enough to open up, tip the water out and start again. Helps obviously to try and keep them nice and flat (level). But even then, the water does find a way in when out in the elements all year long. But they are the best solution I've found and would happily buy again.

I bought this tough weatherproof electrical box for my raised pond. Besides needing something that was weatherproof to keep the rain out I needed something that would house a smart plug for the pond lights, and this Masterplug box does all that and with room to spare.At £12.99 (time of this review) it's great value and does the job perfectly, full 5 stars from me.

I bought this to make a outdoor power supply box for my Christmas lights and it’s a very good quality unit as per photos, it’s had around 5 weeks of heavy rain on and off and remains completely dry inside with no issues, I would recommend that you rub a little petrolatum jelly around the door seal as this will prolong the life of the rubber and stop it going hard and brittle, I sure would be confident that it will last for many years to come, all in all a great product for many outdoor electronic or electrical uses , 👍

Purchased this to run even more :-) outside christmas lights. Even though the box was located in the open and it experienced gale force winds and very very heavly driven rain, it remained perfectly dry inside.The sealing clamp/guilotine works perfectly, just do not rush. Take your time and it will form a VERY effective seal.Although I used the box laying flat, it comes with two slots on the rear so you have the option of mounting it onto a vertical surface if you so wish. The plastic is a decent thickness and muted dark grey in colour. This meant that it was sturdy while at the same time it wasn't standing out like some of the more colourful equivalents.In conclusion, this is a very well made product that exceeded my expectations. Will certainly buy more for next years expanding light show.

Plenty of room for equipment, will do the job. Enough options for exiting cables.

Nice roomy box which can accommodate a multi socket and several cables and plugs, thus great for outdoor Christmas lighting. This is the second one we have purchased as we ruined the first one by screwing it to a tree which then deformed the box so that it was no longer weatherproof. This time we just laid it on the ground over the Christmas period, then put it away until next year.

Love this product, it will protect my electronics well outside when I will repair this box. Unfortunately, the box arrived broken as can be seen in the photos. It only came in a thin amazon bag and was clearly thrown around a bit during transport

Die Box entspricht genau meinen Erwartungen, die da waren, stabil, wasserdicht und groß genug für mehrere Stecker, Zeitschaltuhr und Mehrfachsteckdose. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Halten nur drei Jahre dann undicht.
