I was desperately looking for cute socks that were also practical for these cold winter months. Most of the socks I found were anklets or low crew socks that looked really thin, fine for warmer weather but not for the cold. I had already bought three pairs of booties from the Hudson Baby line and was thrilled with the quality so I took a chance with their sock line. I'm so glad I did!Because this review shows up on all styles of Hudson Baby socks, I'll clarify that I purchased the lot of "Fox" socks, for 12-24 months old for my 8 month old grandson. They have a different fabric mix than some of the other socks they sell. It makes a difference, trust me.These socks are wonderful for chubby little feet. Thick, stretchy, and with room to grow. I love the length of the leg part because I can pull them up to keep the baby's legs warm or fold down the tops during warmer weather. There's enough give for chubby legs so they don't pinch off the circulation. They've been washed several times and have kept their color and fit. I will be buying them again.A minor complaint: not all styles come in all sizes. I'm looking to buy additional socks but the supply is so limited I may have to purchase the same set again. Don't let that stop you from buying some of the nicest warm baby socks ever!

Only socks that fit out of the several "newborn" socks we bought. They can still be kicked off, but not nearly as often as others we tried.
