I got this for my toddlers actually, who are so very curious about the human body parts and organs. It's definitely way too advanced for them to be able to look at on their own but I absolutely love it. I've very impressed by the quality and wish I had this when I was going through my neuroscience classes. I can still use it to show my kids some of the basic aspects of the brain and just give them a general idea of what it all looks like. And as they get older I can show them more and more because the amount of detail on this thing is amazing. Each part of the brain has a number on it and you can refer to the manual it comes with to identify each part. The price is a bit high but if you're into neurology or taking a bunch of courses related to neuroscience, I'd say it's worth it.

The media could not be loaded. What I like about these brains is this very educational you can take it apart and put it back together again and it's from a man's eye view which is really cool. I like the way they have the bottom of the brain sunk into the base so you can be looking at this guy like you're looking him straight on in the eye of his face. It a actual brain scale. It has a small manual with all the brain names. Half of the brain comes apart in to seceral pieces, they are hold together by small magnets. Its all plastic material. The brain has a good weight, the bottom is a little light and cheaper material. This is great for class or if you are starting to study the human brain. Price is a little high at $99 but this kind of props are pretty expensive.

I got this brain model to help with my educational presentation to my students ; undergraduate and graduate nursing students and my EMS students. These model help the students understand the anatomy ‘7 physiology . They are able to combine textbook knowledge and hands on with the models, the brain is very detailed and welllabeled—comes with the explanation for each anatomical position

Professor of anatomy/neuroanatomy here. This brain model looks nice, is accurate, and the magnets do a nice job of holding it together. There are tiny little issues (coloring of the middle cerebellar peduncle is inconsistent between the pons and cerebellum) but the model is overwhelmingly awesome. The inclusion of the dura mater and falx cerebri is an especially nice touch.
