Local firefighters have told us that the best wire mesh to prevent embers from entering your home through foundation or attic vents is 1/8”. None of the big box stores carry this size so was very happy to find this on line. I can now see some other uses for this big roll.

i like the tight 1/8 mesh for a raised garden I have in my backyard. I used it to keep flying critters (birds and insects, ground squirrels from getting to my vegetables. The mesh works well also for letting in sunshine as well as watering.
