I've got a Solo Bonfire and really enjoy visiting with family around the fire. I often need to move the wood around in the firepit to keep it burning efficiently so it's doesn't smolder and put off smoke. This was a real struggle without a fire poker so I ordered this one. It's perfect! I like the length of the poker. It allows me to stay comfortably away from the heat and still manage to move the fire around. The durability and weight of this is also really good. I have been able to pull up heavy pieces of firewood and the poker hasn't felt unstable at all. The black paint seems very durable and has held up well to the constant use. This is an excellent buy for any fireplace.

This is not a timid piece of metal that will bend or break easily, made to last for sure.We camp a lot and this poker is easily the best tool I've ever owned for handling my campfires. Works really well. Just need to insure you tighten the bolt or it will tend to loosen on you. Small pair of pliers do the trick. It's heavy and sturdy. I'd recommend.

Use for outside fire pit. Nice wt and length. Worth the price and not breaking the bank

Oh man, I have many of camp fires I could have used this for in the past. I have used other lesser quality rods that do only half the quality work that this does. I have zero concern for quality or durability. It’s easy to use. The “handle” is one piece with the rod so it never breaks, twists in your hand or loses grip like other pokers do. Love it. 5/5 would recommend

This fire poker is nice heavy duty steel. I love that it unscrews into two smaller pieces as I bought it to travel with. The ends are nicely sharp. The only problem I can forsee is loosing the nut that tighens the 2 pieces together. I might grab a couple of spates to keep on hand. I like being able to use the nut to tighten and loosen the 2 pieces as well as to orient the handle and poker where I want them. Without it the pieces would likely just get stuck tight together. Im keeping it and recommending it.

Bought this for use with our outdoor firepit. Probably overkill for indoor use on a living room fireplace. But perfect for outside where the firepit is 42" across and can handle large size pieces of wood. The integrated handle is perfect for hanging it on the side of the firewood rack. One solid piece of 1/2" steel rod with a hook welded on near the end. Should hold up just fine.

I bought this fire poker for camping. Price is right and it does the job. The only down side, is the poker is assembled in two pieces, with a nut that needs to be tightened to keep the two pieces together, but keeps coming loose. Nothing a little locktite won't fix 😁
