Perfect for Soap and Beyond
I’m really liking this sorbitol liquid for all my soap-making projects. I’ve worked with powdered sorbitol before, but this pre-mixed liquid is just so much easier to work with. It’s fantastic at locking in moisture and giving my soaps that extra lather boost. I’m all about hydration, especially now as I’m getting older, and this has been a lifesaver for keeping my skin from drying out. I like to add about a tablespoon per pound of soap, and it works wonders. Plus, it’s pretty versatile – you can also use it in candies or gummies if you're looking to cut down on sugar, though I haven’t tried that myself.I do have to say, a little goes a long way with this stuff. I stick to about 5% of the total weight in my recipes since it’s also a humectant, and I learned the hard way that too much can make things sticky. But if you’re careful with the amount, it’s an awesome addition to DIY projects. The 18.59 fl oz bottle will last a while, which is nice since I do a lot of crafting with it.

Useful for Multiple Applications
This sorbitol liquid is versatile and works well for a variety of uses. It can be incorporated into homemade soaps or skincare products, offering moisture retention. Additionally, it's a good option for those looking to reduce sugar intake, as it can be used as a sweetener in candies and gummies. The liquid form makes it easy to measure and incorporate into recipes. It’s a solid choice for DIY projects, but I would recommend using it in small quantities if you're sensitive to sugar alcohols.

Confusing packaging, but bottle indicates 100% sorbitol
The listing and packaging indicate it can be used as sweetener, for gummies, etc, and that it is 100% sorbitol, however I wish it explicitly stated that this can be ingested. It would go s long way to being able to trust the product.

Good cosmetic grade liquid Sorbitol!
This sulfate free and paraben free MYOC Sorbitol Liquid is perfect for use with my soap hobby! I've worked with powdered sorbitol but I much prefer this pre-mixed liquid for use it in my bar soaps. It's a fabulous humectant and significantly improves lather. Cosmetic grade Sorbitol provides skin-conditioning benefits by binding moisture to help keep skin hydrated and preventing dryness. As I get older this is a big issue so make my own soaps and share with my hobby with neighbor ladies. This large 18.59 fl oz bottle should keep us happy for quite a while since only about a tablespoon is needed for a pound of soap.Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol this is odorless and has multiple uses. It can also be used in cosmetics or in food as a sweetner, but I have not tried it for either of those.

Using as a sugar substitute.
Description says this sorbitol is food grade, but the actual bottle says cosmetic grade. So which is it? Well, I looked up what the difference between food and cosmetic grade sorbitol is. Come to find out, they are the same thing! Good to know. For diabetic reasons, I plan on using this sorbitol as a sugar substitute. I tasted it, as is, and I was impressed. Tasted great. I never realized that sorbitol has a variety of uses. From cosmetics, to food, to laxatives, sorbitol can be used. I’m pleasantly pleased with my purchase and will be using this as needed.
