The tiered fringe on this is fun and moves beautifully, but the fit was a challenge. I am a size small/extra small (5'4" 115#) so it did fit, but I think anyone larger than me would struggle to get this to fully close without stretching it, which will impact the look. Because it's a wrap without a hole to thread a tie through, it was challenging to get it to fully cover and lie smoothly. After several attempts, it was quite flattering, until I moved around, which made it shift. It's quite short, so with movement it rode up and looked uneven. On someone more petite than I am this would be quite cute, but if you are a medium or larger it probably will not work for dance.

I got this to use for a costume. It's very well made and packaged perfectly so that the fringe doesn't tangle. As others have mentioned, it does run small, and I wish they would have listed measurements for it. For it to overlap it would have to be worn by a child or a very small person, maybe a size 4/6 or below. Otherwise, is it very well made and would be super cute for a dance troupe.

For small waist. Doesn't wrap around unless you're a small/medium waist.Comfortable and frilly. Would be fine if I was skinny. Need two if you wear a large or extra large pants.
