This is a great set for a beginner Potter.

Multi purpose
I actually got this set for pumpkin carving, and they work really well. They cut nicely without being too sharp. The handles are sturdy and the metal ends seem to be fixed in the handles pretty good, which hopefully means they won’t break off easily.

Used for carving pumpkins
I bought these to do some fancy pumpkin carving. I did not end up using the large pieces, just the small ones. I bought narrow pencil cushions because my fingers blistered from the knurling texture on the tools.

I wouldn’t buy them if you want something’s that will last. Half of them broke in the first few months.
