Nice grinder. I like that I do not have to fill it every ten minutes. I thought I was getting a Pepper and Salt Grinder. I was sent two pepper grinders. No problem as I use Sea Salt and it needs a pepper grinder to get it into the smaller granules anyway so I have absolutely no problem there. I do sometimes like a larger pepper flake on my salads and have yet to get it to do that even though I loosen it up a bit. There is nothing like putting fresh pepper on a salad, or soup, or eggs, or pasta. This grinder does that for me and I like it!

It's a pretty good product, and the pepper grinder has been holding up well for a year. It's easy to hold, grinds evenly, and easy to fill up, and the set is good looking (if you can trust my aesthetic sense :) ). All the parts appears to be of good build quality. Cleaning can be tricky but that's typical of most mills/grinders.Now, the biggest issue I have faced is with the salt grinder, in which I put Himalayan rock salt. A small steel part that goes into the cap (on the inside), and holds the lead shaft in place (see uploaded pics for reference) keeps coming off. You know it has come off inside, when the grinder rotates but stops grinding. If I put it back and press it in (have tried that in different ways, almost an infinite number of times now, including gluing in), it keeps coming off (after a few rounds of operation), since there's no kink to hold it in. I have now given up, and would have contacted the seller/manufacturer, if there was an easy way to do so -- in order to either identify a fix or get a replacement.

Bought these for my husband's birthday and he loves them. Both came in great shape and shipping was exactly as it said it would be. Only complaint is technically they are the exact same item so you have to find a way to label them salt and pepper, but this isn't exactly hard. Even if you just look at the bottoms before use you should be able to tell if it is grinding salt or pepper. Great product, would buy again if I ever knew someone who needed a set.

These mills work well and are good value, but you should know that they are identical: no label of any kind on either. So if you're planning to use one for pepper and one for salt, as we do, or one for black pepper and one for white pepper, etc., then you'll either have to look closely underneath before every use to figure out which is which, or label them yourself.

I wanted a wood pepper mill with a coarse grind. The ceramic is a plus. The feel is kind of loose, not as smooth asmore expensive grinders, The product is 8" so the size of the grind is medium, e.g., not too coarse, not too fine. 2 pepper mills at this price is great.

I wasn't in a huge hurry, but I think they arrived within 3 days. I was a bit perplexed when I opened the package. There were 2 peppermills. The ad stated pepper & salt. I can't distinguish the two. I'm only using the salt grinder until I make labels to tell them apart. Otherwise, they are good. They are a bit smaller than I thought, but I did read a review that they were smaller than expected. Read about the size before buying & note you won't be able to distinguish the two apart. The grinder is easy to turn. Not much room to hold a good amount of salt & Pepper.

Just what I was looking for. Beautiful wood and appears high quality. I have reduced grip strength due to arthritis and these are easy to use.

Don’t like them. Sent me 2 pepper mills instead of one of each. Told me they could both be used for salt but there’s metal on the bottom of both and that’s a rust area. Other salt mills don’t have a metal bar runny across the bottom. Would not recommend.
