Handmade American Walnut WDT Tool V2.0 Built-in Magnet, Espresso Distribution Tools, Espresso Stirrer with Stand

The walnut is beautiful and I like the handmade aesthetic. The wires are thin but still rigid enough to give my 18 gram doses a good stir. The stand is a nice extra for safely storing the tool on the counter. Overall I’m very happy for this price. I was a bit nervous given that there were only a handful of reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance on it. It would be nice if there was an option to get it in a lighter wood, which would have matched the rest of my setup better.

Update: I bought a 2nd one as a gift for a friend and fellow coffee enthusiastThe wood is actually wood, not just a sticker or even a veneer; which gives me an idea of this seller’s higher standard of quality. The needles are very thin but don’t bend from stirring the grounds; that was my biggest worry on functionality.A big plus is the magnet which I use all the time; the small amount of grounds that stick to the needles would normally get coffee oils the base. Instead, I stick it to the side of my machine after i stir and later brush clean when im done; really gives piece of mind not having to worry about damaging the needles if i set it down.If you know what a WDT is and like how it looks you should absolutely get this one. The internet is full of bait’n’switch products but this is one of those “as advertised” products i was hoping for.Edit: added photos to show how fluffy the grounds get from stirring

In terms of functionality just right. Stowing it away is a problem.The magnet on the side is too weak to hold it in place on side of machine. And the central needle must be threaded into the hollow center of the stand. I made the mistake of letting a child attempt to put it back on the stand and now have an irreparably bent needle, but that's one me.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and it came in great packaging! The wood shavings were a fun touch. The item itself is crafted well, and is awesome for fluffing up the grounds before tamping. We both agree that it actually did make quite a difference in how well our shots pulled. Bonus points to this company for including a few extra replacement wires. Highly recommend!

Although this little WDT tool has a beautiful wooden conical stand to sit on and it is easy to use, I'm always looking for less clutter at my coffee station. The fact that they were smart enough to embed a tiny little magnet in the handle was a brilliant solution. My Breville machine is stainless steel, so I can just stick this on the side of the machine.As far as how it works, it is fine. It distributes the grounds effortlessly and after a month, I haven't had any issues with the needles bending or falling out. It came with a second set of needles, but I'm thinking I probably won't ever need them.I'm glad I chose this instead of the others just for that magnet alone. It also looks nice and works great.

Pretty walnut tool - works well though the little magnet dot does not seem to work - I always place it back on its little stand. It does make a difference when pulling a shot on my espresso machine

This is equipped with thin enough needles and has sufficient spread that it works well. My prior one just pushed coffee around. Recommended.

The quality of this tool is amazing! I purchased this tool and it made my espresso pulls way better. The wood is amazing and the stand is such a cute addition. It made packaged in its own wood shaving which was very nice and eco friendly
