I spent literally an hour researching the best life jacket for my daughter and I was all confused. To figure out her size we wrapped a string around her waist, marked it with a marker and then measured it. That was how we were able to figure out her waist circumference. (Or if you have a body measuring tape that’ll work.)She is 7.5 years old, 66 lbs and her waist circumference was just under 25inches.We got her the biggest YOUTH size.Fits good. You really have to measure to make sure otherwise you’ll be returning a perfectly good item.

I am overall really happy with this life jacket. As someone with a very large chest, I am always worried that life jackets will not fit me. However, this one fits great! It adjusts a bunch too, which is very helpful if you are bloated one day. My only issue is that I paid for faster shipping (since I needed it by a specific date) and it was delivered a couple days later than it was predicted to. So, highly recommend the life jacket, but make sure you order with more time than you think you'll need.

It does exactly what you want. It's way more comfortable than the ones they hand out places, stayed on even when I jumped in, and kept me from drowning. True to size! I have a large chest and was easily able to adjust this to the perfect fit.

We spent a weekend kayaking and this jacket was perfect for my daughter. Very comfortable with no sharing likea lot of other foam life vests.

Worried this wouldn't work, it does. Very nice product. At the end of the adjustments a 5'7" size 26/28 with a 48F fit comfortably. Definitely works for plus size 18 through 28.

Doesn’t fit great and not very comfortable

I bought a small for my 9 year old who is the size of an 11 year old. It was a little big, but she will grow into it.
