Great book from John Keel - 'The Oracle' of the Unknown!
John Keel really is the oracle on the subject of the Unknown! I have all his books apart from these books holding all his short articles. His ideas and theories, were beyond his time and probably the closest to the truth! These 'Beings' and 'Phenomenon' are not from outer space, they reside with us here on this planet and have probably been here for thousands if not millions plus of years longer than us! It is highly possibly they live in some parallel dimension that they have the ability to control at ease. Possibly they have base's under the sea or even in deep cavernous areas in the earth, such as Nepal and Antarctica. Their intelligence makes us look like 'Ug' the Caveman. I believe the reason why more people are encountering theses 'beings' and their incredibly high tech phenomenon, is that we have brought Mother Earth to her knees and the damage we have done also effects them. If they decide to take control back to save this planet, believe me they will be able to squash us like 'little ants' under their feet. We will not stand a chance! So maybe that's another good reason to try and look after Our Planet! Great book from a great researcher!

A Modern Day Solomon Kane Does Battle with The Unknown
Impossible not to love Keel's sense of humor in the face of terror and mayhem. He was a giant in life and remains the gold standard in researching the bizarre today. Many younger forteans missed the age of Men's Magazines, SAGA, Argosy, TRUE and a host of other slick monthlies. These compilations give them a chance to hear the best of the paranormal tales from a man who lived them . Best read his bio first , over on the John Keel site lovingly maintained by Doug Skinner .Us old timers who knew him when , just want to bask in his silver tongued typewriter's glory days:)

Thought-provoking Book!
HATE the title: almost didn't buy it because of that. This is a thought-provoking book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who ponders UFOs, other dimensions, etc.I wish someone would add more material from today: this was written in the 70s.

3 Stars Because I Love Keel
My gratitude and affection for Keel’s work can’t prevent me from shaking my head at parts of this book and wonder whether Keel really believed such nonsense or whether he was as poorly educated as they make him sound. In this book, Keel wonders whether the Pyramids in Egypt were actually built by the Egyptians. But he himself points out in other works that there are plenty of Egyptian documents describing what workers were paid, how they were fed, etc. He seems to believe that some think that Aime Michel’s “straight line” UFO theory is credible. Name five people that believed that, John. At the time the book was written the theory had been abandoned. And if I wanted to look for explanations for the construction of Stonehenge, I would actually research the historical studies and writings by archeologists instead of assuming that Keel’s guesses were correct. Having said that, I intend to read the entire book because Keel is entertaining and fun to read. His theory that UFO’s and paranormal phenomena are connected and the conclusions he reached from that realization is one of the few intelligent developments in the field. While followers of the “alien” theory have been stuck in a dead end for 75 years, Keel refused to wear blinders and kneel to what has become a religion. I don’t understand what an “ “Ultraterrestrial” is and I doubt that Keel really did either. In spite of a good deal of the man’s work being a frenzied attempt to keep the wolf from the door (writing is not an easy way to make a living,) when Keel hit the ball, he hit it miles past the spot that smug hacks like Stan Friedman were capable of aiming for. So, I urge you to buy this book. Just don’t take it too seriously.
