Pricey perhaps, but this is durable, interesting furniture. Of course, the common style cat tree is never inexpensive anyway. My cats love it. I find the looks of this soothing to me and apparently it is to my cats as well, as one is always asleep inside the sphere. I believe this will last through a few generations of kitties in my house.

It's a beautiful piece that I bought cheaper from Petco, but the whole is high up without any step for the cats to use like most cat trees. I give it 5 stars for looks, but it's not practical at all. Set up was not complicated, but the screws (double sided screws) were the wrong size! I had to leave the screws in the bottom legs partially unscrewed so that they could reach the top legs through the base plate. It took me many tries to get them just right. I wish I could keep it, since other cat trees are so ugly. I found one other one that looks nice enough that I will try.

Love it but my Cat loves it even more. It looks nice as well in. I have noticed it knocked over several times and feel it must happen when my cat toys to jump up on it from the ground and it will tip over.

Very contemporary design for a cat tree. The wicker works great for kitty to scratch on. Kitty loves it!
