I have a new, loud talking, always arguing and playing music well past 9PM neighbor, which prompted me to buy these in a hurry! Plus, I'd prefer she not hear me either.I bought one and I only got one side of my wall done and it was hard to tell the effectiveness of these. She was still loud so I bought another and I almost have them all up, but I ran out of double sided tape for the rest. As I type, I was wondering where he music was at. I put my ear to the wall to hear - and she is playing it, but I did not hear much, if anything with the main parts of my wall covered!So these things seem to be doing the job and are better at reducing sound than foam sound dampeners, which break up sound waves more so that making sure that they are not quieted. THESE have the right combo of panel numbers, color and price.

I live in an upstairs apartment and ordered six packages of these to dampen the sound from downstairs neighbors. This definitely made a difference- though don't expect it to work miracles! The biggest culprit in letting in sound was our thin door... We used exacto knives to cut up the hexagons to make sure every inch of the door was covered. *As an added bonus we noticed these hexagons also block smell of the downstairs neighbors cooking.It definitely does work and I would recommend these to a friend.

I bought 3 12 packs to cover my room with these. As they are visually appealing, and the feel is of good quality, there is a lot of static produced by them which makes my recording audio static like. I already have preamplifier sounds with these static sounds, so I had to go back to the acoustic panels which look like razor blades which are not bad. In short, these are good for designs, but not good for audio recordings.

I was expecting adhesive to be on it but I clearly didn’t read enough. I’m all around just not satisfied. I like the color but that’s about it. I’ll have to create something with what I got

I did not realize this product does not come w/ adhesive tape on the back, so that was a major annoyance, but other than that, it seems to work fine.
