Very attractive design, but unfortunately, the controller didn't work--it was stuck "on". Even though it was clearly receiving signals from the switch, it would never switch the lights off. Wasted over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong when trying to install the controller, then I had to put all the wiring back the way it was before. I sent email to the company twice asking for a replacement--no response. Customer service is inadequate to say the least. So, it looks like I will have to return the item for a refund.

Okay, this is the coolest thing ever. In fact it's one of my favorite things about a complete bath remodel we did earlier this year. I know that sounds strange but our old shower became a much larger coat closet on the other side of the wall we busted out and the old shower light became the new closet light. The problem was moving the switch to inside the new closet without some difficulty and more expense and this gadget fixed that problem perfectly. No one can believe the switch is just stuck to the drywall and has no batteries. Just put a little junction box in the ceiling with the wire hanging out to receive transmission and it works great. It's amazing and I'm pretty sure it's Black Magic! Don't care.

Product works great! My wiring was not as pictured in the diagrams provided, but I was able to figure out how to set things up. Specifically, all of the neutral (white) wires were hooked together with a wire nut in the three single pole light switches in the switch box. I had to find and connect the neutral wire to the light fixtures to the appropriate terminal of the Colemeter switch and add a wire to connect to the remaining neutral wires in the wall to the other neutral terminal of the Colemeter switch. The switch works as advertised -- it activates the wall switch through two external walls (house and detached garage).

Very easy to install. Works perfectly. If you are using 2 switches to control the same light, sometimes you have to click twice. You get used to it. It would be much better if the form factor would be the same as Decor switches so it would look like a normal Decor switch and fit over a standard single or double gang box.Well made and very attractive. Loud click is a negative.

Before I purchased this product I did not know that this technology existed. I used it to have a light switch at the top and bottom of the stairs to the basement. This saved me having to run a wire through the walls. All instructions were adequate and my project is now complete. I am sure I shall find other uses for this technology in the future.

Installation was a little tight to pass the product though a mud ring into a ceiling box.I installed four in closets in my house. It took a few tries to figure out how to get the logo down on the controller.One of the controllers functioned intermittently immediately after installation, and then stopped working completely.I received no response after multiple e-mails to COLEMETER.

Beware of misleading product dedscription. This is only for the switch, no receiver was in the package as drescibed. One star rating and merchandise was returned for refund due to this issue.

These remote light switches are the best. No batteries to replace in the switches - can program them for three-way applications. Well designed and great price - below the cost of ones with batteries. Will be buying more.
