Where have these been all of my pierced ear wearing life???? They fit perfectly! I bought them to wear with my 14k white gold diamond studs and since the posts are a little thinner than normal earring posts, I was a little worried that maybe they would slide off too easily but NO WORRIES AT ALL. They fit snugly and the little silicone ball thingy is just the right size - they are small enough that they are inconspicuous and don't look like I have growths on the back of my ears, yet big enough to grasp without having a hard time putting them on. These are so much easier than a screw back or clutch back and they are perfect for cartilage piercings. I REALLY REALLY love that my long hair does not get caught in between my ear and the backing anymore. If you have cartilage piercings and long hair and previously used flat screw backings, you need to get these asap! They are just as comfortable to sleep in because they have a low profile but more importantly, you hair won't get caught and pull whenever you go to move your hair away from your ears. My hair just slides over these effortlessly with no snagging at all. I spent like $10 for 2 pairs and they are 14k on top of that - that's a real bargain!

Allergic reaction
I wore this for a week and developed a rash behind my ears and neck. I didn’t even realize why I was getting the rash until I remembered I had replaced the backing of my earrings so they would be comfortable to sleep in. I’m usually allergic to latex but I thought these are made out of silicone. Maybe I’m allergic to silicone? That hasn’t happened before but then again I’ve never worn anything silicone for more than a day. I’m so itchy!!!!
