I don't normally like to buy shoes online but I couldn't find anything that I wanted in the local retail stores so I decided to look online. I was pretty skeptical but after wearing them for a few months I am glad that I took the chance. These Dunham Windsor Oxfords are really comfortable, they look good, the fit is true to size and they seem to be very well made.I do have one nit to pick: the laces will not stay tied unless I double knot them. The laces are made with a synthetic thread that is so smooth that there is not enough friction to keep the knot from coming loose. As I said, that is a nit and it does not alter the fact that I am pleased with the fit and construction of the shoes so I would definitely order them again.

Buying nice shoes are always a chore for me, it seems like you always must sacrifice comfort for something too stiff that falls apart quickly. In my normal life I almost exclusively wear sandals or sneakers. These shoes bridge that gap almost perfectly. They are nice enough to wear in a business casual environment, and even with a suit for job interviews. However, unlike your average pair of dress shoes these feel supremely comfortable, just like a good pair of walking or running shoes. They fully support your foot, the shoes are super high quality and non-slip, and they are completely waterproof.The first day I wore them it was pouring rain, I had to step through puddles and just generally get soaked all over, and these kept my feet perfectly dry. I am a pretty big, 300+ lbs around 6' tall, and these are some of the most comfortable shoes for walking around. These feel just as good, if not better than the new balance walking shoes I purchased, but I can wear them to work. Even after being on my feet all day these shoes still feel comfortable and reduce pain and strain better than any others I have worn.The fit can be tricky for me, since I have wide feet, 4E width, and even then, a lot of 4E shoes sometimes feel too small. These slid on perfectly and have enough room in the toes to give my feet room to move and breathe, while at the same time conforming and not letting them move around inside the shoe. I order these along with Rockports to test and the second I tried these on I knew the Rockports had to go back. The Rockports used to be my go-to shoe, but lately the materials seem to have taken a hit, and the sole material is light and cheap, and it seems to wear quickly. These Dumhams are the complete opposite. They are dense and feel like they will last forever.The only thing these won’t be good for is a very formal occasion, if you are wearing a tuxedo or attending something really classy then you are probably stuck with those stiff shiny shoes everyone hates, unless you plan to spend upwards of $350 for the good stuff. For anything else from business casual to suits, these fit great, feel great, and can keep you on your feet all day with no discomfort. Buy them and thank me later.

Love this shoe. It has great arch support. Have been wearing these for several years, including years while working in sales on concrete floors.

I wanted something waterproof and durable, and that's exactly what these are. But the uppers are quite stiff, so it took me a couple months to break them into what I consider anyway near comfortable on the tops of my feet. I'm still only loosely lacing them. But they aren't wearing out in the heels like so many I buy.

I work on my feet all day and have suffered with foot pain for years. These shoes offer the proper support needed to make it through the work day. Light weight and sturdy.

This is one of the best every day shoes I have bought. This is my second pair and the first pair lasted 2 years with every day ware while wearing them in yard work every thing else. They have stayed together and the only thing that worn a lot is the sole. This tops have worn very very well. Other shoes I have had came apart after a few months. Dunham is the best shoe I have had for every day wear. Worth the money.

Extremely comfortable shoe. Use for everyday use and walking Several miles each day. First pair was medium and I usually wear medium. Felt it was a little tight so exchanged for next wider one. Very happy with product.

I have been buying these shoes for around 15 years and hope that they never stop making them. The quality is excellent. Have never have had problems with any pair falling apart. I wear them until the soles wear down. I have had several years out of use out of each pair. I wear them all year round and they keep my feet dry in almost all outdoor conditions. I will not wear them during a heavy snow storm as they are not boots but I walk with them once the snow plows have cleaned the roads and sidewalks to some extent. They fit my orthotics well and the soles do a good job of protecting my feet. They are available in extra wide which I what I need. They are perfect!

I'm a guy with a particularly large foot (Size 15), and have been wearing Rockport shoes for over 15 years. Sadly, the model I was used to is no longer in production, so I had to find another brand. Enter Dunham, a companion brand to Rockport.I was reluctant to 'change', but made the plunge. I was incredibly surprised by the supreme fit and comfort of this shoe. It is absolutely built for comfort, and I mean the kind you need spending 8 hours daily walking on hard concrete floors, or at trade shows. The shoes feature an amazing insole with cushioning just at the right spots to protect the heel and the ball of the foot. The leather uppers are incredibly firm, yet flexible, so you get full foot motion when walking. The soles have a high quality, deep-track set of treads, which are non-slip, with embedded 'impact cushions' as well to make this even more comfortable.Great styling and coloration, across a nicely pebbled leather finish. All that, and waterproof to boot! These shoes, and this particular brand, are an excellent replacement for my old 'standard'!

I have liked Dunham Windsor shoes for many years. My first pair was nubuck, and my subsequent pairs are black or brown leather. I like the large, wide sizes (U.S. size 14, width 6E). They have never leaked when they got wet in the rain. Inside, they are deep enough for me to use thick insoles. I understand that my shoes were made in China, but in the 20th century, I understand that Dunhams shoes were made in the USA.

Quick delivery. Nice and Great shoes: 11 X-Wide (After shedding some weight, the 12 X-Wide became too big). All around very comfortable with the orthotics. No pressure on the toes at all. But had to remove the original insoles. The colour in "person" is quite beautiful and vivid. The picture on the Amazon site does not do justice to how much the design and colour are attractive. Hope one the one I took with the cellphone is clearer. Highly recommended.

This is a replacement for a pair of identical shoes that I've had for 7 or 8 years. The fabric at the heel on the inside finally wore through. Looking for a shoe with a leather lining or at least at the heel where the previous pair wore out, I checked out a lot of other other brands before getting these again. Nothing else could match the comfort with the same quality and durability. (Nobody makes a leather-lined shoe that you can stand in all day and still be comfortable.) Can't complain about getting > 7 years from shoes that I wear every day to work - and I'm on my feet a lot. I know these keep my feet happy!
