Dyson Outsize+ Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

My wife and I have ended up living in several places at once as we have moved back to our original home city for family care taking. We have ended up needing to clean more than our own home. We don't have the time or energy to fuss with complex old cumbersome vacuum equipment. We have had other Dyson products and have come to trust them even though they are a bit pricy for sure. This vacuum is able to easily do a 2000 square foot house with light to medium dust on one charge. It comes with two batteries, so if we think we have a bigger project we charge both batteries. It also comes with two charger cords, so we can take one with us while the other is in a dedicated mounted location.I would say that this vacuum is a bit on the heavy side for my wife. For small jobs, she will definitely default to our older lighter Dyson vacuum. She will let me run this thing.The laser dust finder on the laser floor cleaning head works really well. I let a germaphobic friend borrow this vacuum for his home, and he complained about the paranoia the vacuum was going to cause because he could see every particle of dust. He immediately purchased his own Dyson vacuum to not take any chances.On my older Dyson, the battery was assembled to the handle and the motor unit. To change out the battery, one had to take the unit apart. On this unit, the batteries are swappable eliminating that older annoyance.This unit comes with lots of great tools and options. I cannot say enough good things about this Dyson vacuum (and other dyson products). I was hesitant to spend the money but it's worth every dime. For starters, it comes with so many attachments based on your style of cleaning. The smooth head with the laser is so handy when using the vacuum over tile and wood. It does a good job of showing where the dust particles are. I have ran this into so many appliances and furniture, not a dent. My favorite part is the head that removes hair. I can vacuum for 30 minutes and not have a single piece of hair in it. The machine chargers quickly and then from there runs forever. Highly recommend making the investment for good, quality cleaning.

This vacuum is unreal. We vacuum almost every day (sometimes multiple times a day) with a dog that sheds like crazy, not to mention we like to spend time in the yard. We are in and out of our house constantly, tracking in leaves, dirt, etc. This vacuum has made our lives so much easier. We can easily vacuum our entire 1800 square foot home in 20 minutes.The attachments are a great addition, especially the clip that allows you to carry two attachments on the vacuum itself. It's just a super versatile machine and is great for vacuuming your car.I also really love that the attachments fully come apart so you can clean everything thoroughly. The design of this machine is just ingenious.It's also pretty quiet for such a powerful vacuum. This is the first vacuum we've owned that our dog didn't hate!I will say it is quite heavy for a cordless vacuum, which doesn't bother us but may bother someone with mobility issues.

Update: The seller on Amazon is not an official Dyson dealer. Consequently if you have problems will you have to deal with the seller instead. ONLY PURCHASE if you are comfortable with NOT having an actual warranty from Dyson. The Amazon dealer did replace the wand, but the new one is also very difficult to remove..I purchased this machine in March, 2024, struggled with it a bit, and have been attempting to get warranty service since the end of May, 2024. It is now July 20, 2024 andI my machine is nonfunctioning.Like: When working, this machine is an amazing cleaning tool. The laser finds everything so the end result is wonderful.Dislike: Warranty service is non-existent. Initially, the wand on my machine was extremely difficult to detach. (It has to be detached to empty the bin.). But after about two months, it simply stuck and I reached out to Dyson for assistance. I have spent hours on their chat line and phone line asking for help. Some reps have simply cut me off and I have never heard back from the reps that said a resolution was coming. Thus I have a $699 machine that is nonfunctioning. I would never recommend Dyson to a friend.

I've been eyeing a Dyson for a long time and finally snagged this one during a Prime Day deal for a couple hundred off. I have 2 floors and a finished basement with multiple types of surfaces, and a dog and cat that shed a lot. The laser slim is a game changer at helping me to vacuum every piece of hair up on my thin rugs/tile/hardwood floors. The larger brush roll got my carpets and thick rugs cleaner than they've been in a long time, and the attachments made detail cleaning easier. With the spare battery, I was able to get all three levels cleaned and still had battery left. After a while, the vacuum does get pretty heavy on the hand because of the larger dust bin, especially because it requires you to hold the power button down. That's literally the only downside though, and I can easily live with that as the larger dust bin means I don't have to empty it nearly as much while I'm cleaning.I do recommend purchasing additional accessory holders. I got one on Amazon that attaches to the holder that came with the Dyson and now all my accessories are stored in location save for the spare battery and 2nd charging cable. This vacuum is expensive, but I've gone through 6 different vacuums and this beats them all by a landslide.
