Not educational but, relaxing and cool
The media could not be loaded. First is the most point point: as someone with migraines, I would think twice before buying this projector if lights changing color or waves of light on walls trigger your migraines. I am not a doctor but, do know that lights can also trigger seizures. I would therefore avoid this device if I had epilepsy. I looked for a warning on the directions but, no warning was there. The NXENTC Star Projector Light, Bluetooth Speaker Music Night Light is very cool but, it is not educational. There are no constellations, no moons, no planets and no nebula. What it does have is the ability to be tilted on it's stand to aim the projector at a wall or a ceiling. If you push the remote button that has stars on it, white stars fade in and out among the waves of light. That light can be allowed to change from color to color combination on its own or by pressing a button. The projector does have buttons as well which is nice, should you lose the remote or need new batteries. There is a timer (you can set it to 30 minutes or 60 minutes). The remote takes AAA batteries, they aren't included. The projector is only powered via USB.A couple of important things: the projector never heated up which is great for safety. I know LED lights shouldn't get hot but, I never assume things will do what they should or shouldn't. A concern a parent might have is the intense brightness of the projector. You'll really need to impress upon your kids that they are never to look directly at the projector while it's on. I tilted mine towards a wall and away from the room's center. The waves of light looked incredible on my black upright piano. I can see how this item would be great for parties and/or relaxation. An additional aspect regarding rest or partying is the bluetooth speaker. It is probably good as a bonus feature. But, the sound isn't impressive if sound (clarity, bass, etc)is your priority. Also, sound and lights cannot be synched.Overall, I really like this projector and will keep it on on the green light (due to my aforementioned migraines). I'm sure my pre-teen niece and nephew will also like this. I'll plug it in when we're next together for a birthday. I think it would look pretty cool when the only other light in the room is candle light on the cake.

Does not cover my entire ceiling
This speaker has a good Bluetooth range. When Bluetooth is connected, I can move my phone 20 feet away with my door shut and this speaker can still run well. It has great sound quality as well. The light projection has clear and sharp colors unlike my old one, but my old one is a whole lot cheaper, so, I cannot really compare apple to apple. The downside of this product is that the light projection does not cover my entire ceiling. It would be ideal if the light globe were made bigger. Overall, I still think it's a great light projector and bluetooth speaker.

This projector is great.
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE that this projector covers a large area, it actually projects. I especially like that it has an adjustable stand that allows me to sit it up higher so that it can project farther. The Bluetooth function makes it very easy for me to pair with my desired devices; the remote control is equally easy to operate. I really like the array of colors that this projector has, along with the ability to slow down or speed up the motion. I think this one is my favorite.

A really great light show and a better than expected speaker
The light show is fantastic. Brilliant how the device can be angled on the metal stand to aim the light show more to walls or to the ceiling or somewhere in between; instead of having a fixed base which many alternative products have. The speaker sounds a lot clearer than I expected it to. Obviously lacks bass due to its size but it is very usable and not muffled. Best to use your own speakers though to get the most from your music. It was easy to pair the Bluetooth.Simple to operate. The remote control is very responsive.Requires a minimum of 2A USB power supply.I'm really impressed by the light show and didn't think it would look anywhere near as good as it actually does. It's peaceful watching the lights and will also definitely look the part in a party environment.Perfect for people of all ages.

Fun item, easy to use
This is a fun item - a novelty for sure, but portable, easy to use, and pleasant enough that it’s unlikely to be relegated to the cupboard after a couple of uses. It has two functions: it can be used as a bluetooth speaker, but the fun bit is the projector light. The speakers can be used without the lights, but as far as I can tell, the unit will automatically connect to any nearby bluetooth devices so if you don’t want sound you may need to switch off bluetooth on your device. Otherwise the two functions don’t really have any interaction, ie the lights are not responsive to the music etc. But it’s a fun gadget nonetheless. It’s very easy to set up and though there is a remote included, I found I didn’t bother with it. The bluetooth paired with my laptop with no fiddling needed, and in no time I was soaking in a hot bath listening to a true crime podcast with watery blue patterns swirling over the dark walls - lovely for relaxing! The functions allow you to set a 30min or 1 hour timer, change the colour of the lights, and add a pattern of star shapes that “breathe” ie fade gently in and out. The pattern of the other lights is always the same, swirly shapes that distort on surfaces for a sort of lava-light effect. It’s quite bright and I wish it had a dimmer option as personally I’d struggle to sleep with it on. As you might expect, the sound quality isn’t brilliant, but it’s clear and will be fine for most purposes. The manufacturer’s description makes it sound like an educational toy - it’s not. The display is simply pretty light patterns that have nothing to do with the actual night sky, so if you looking for replication of constellations or hoping to teach your kids about the solar system, this will be pointless.I’d love to see an upgrade on this with dimmer switch, changeable patterns and a few more similar customisable options, but as it is this is still a lot of fun and gives a lovely effect with very little effort or indeed expense.

Nice But Limited Projector!
I have a number of these projectors and they all have pro's and con's. The big feature for me is that this is directional. Most projectors shine straight up so if you wanted the display in the middle of the room you would have to position it in the middle of the room. But this flying saucer style music star projector from Nxentc can be swivelled to shine wherever you want it, even on a wall. The bluetooth music feature would probably work better in a bedroom as the quality is okay but not as good as the Amazon Echo's that I have in several rooms. There are two parts to the display. A star pattern in a white grid instead of the usual green laser stars. The multi-colour display is more of a 'northern lights aurora' type rather than a star nebula. The brightness of this can be changed which is nice. There is no moon or space image feature.A remote is included which takes 2 x AAA batteries (not included) this allows you to set a timer for 30 or 60 minutes, switch the star pattern off/on, change volume on the speaker, etc. Alternatively, there are control buttons on the unit itself. The projector has to be powered at all times when in use, there is no battery function. The unit is powered by a 1.5m USB-C cable which is supplied. If you need a little extra length to reach a suitable USB port then a normal phone cable will do the job equally well. Full instructions are included.Overall, I found this projector a little limited in it's display for me. At this price there is plenty of choice but very few offer you the directional feature.

A galaxy projector lamp that resembles a miniature UFO
This projector light projects a colourful starry night sky onto a wall or ceiling that your kids or adults at the party will surely enjoy. The galaxy projector has romantic and amazing starlight and starry projector effect that gives you a more peaceful and relaxing mood. Its colours can be changed and it has a built-in Bluetooth speaker so you can connect to your TV, phone or tablet. It also has five touch control buttons that you can use to change the lighting modes according to your preference. In addition, it comes with remote control for more convenience, and it also has a timer feature, so you can set the time for when it will automatically turn off, saving you the hassle of getting out of bed to turn it off manually.I have tried several projector lights and I must say that all of them are actually similar except for their aesthetics. I have the dinosaur egg and the astronaut projector lamp, and now I've got this mini UFO projector lamp that looks good too. It is working properly and has beautiful lights, especially at night. As for its quality, it seems well made, and I like that it’s not that bulky, unlike the others. I just noticed that it only has starry night projections, which is not a big deal for me since it is far better. There's nothing special about this product except for its design, but it is, however, a good bargain for the money.

A pretty light show for any room of the house.
The media could not be loaded. This is a great way to add either a party atmosphere or a calming one to any environment. It has two options for use - the light projector itself and the Bluetooth connection that enables you to play music on it, too. Both options can be used separately from one another or together at the same time. There is a remote too, which is good quality and is easy to understand with a quick read over the instruction manual. The sound quality on this device isn't the best out there, but it's passable. I wouldn't use it as the sole speaker at a party, for example. You'd want a proper sound system set up for that kind of thing, but for general listening (podcasts, audio books) it's just fine for personal use. The lights can be changed depending on what colour or shape you want - there are stars that can be turned on and off via the remote. Unfortunately, the lights only have one brightness setting, which wouldn't make this great for sleeping purposes or as a night light for a child - it's just too bright to sleep with on. If it had dimmable options for the brightness, that would be great and make it far more versatile. The only reason I knocked off a star is because if you sit close to it (within a couple of metres), you can hear the mechanics whirring, which can be a little off putting in an otherwise quiet room, and also the light ball itself is a little cheap and plastic looking. Other than that, a great idea for a kid's room, events, or even as a gift.
