These actually work exactly as described. When one position seems to get warmer, just slide it around your neck to a different position. I use it at work and it stays cool for 8 hours.

The is product works well… for 5 minutes. And then all the gel beads drop to the bottom and no longer cool your neck. I gave it four stars, because I can sew the pockets myself holding the beads in place, but it should come that way since they move so easily.

I am an avid daily walker. I walk for miles. I get home and my clothes would be soaked from sweat. I saw these and purchased three different patterns. Pulled them out of the bag, thin flat material and hardly anything in them. I thought this will never be any good. To my amazement they worked excellent! Follow the instructions by placing one in cool water (I throw in 2 ice cubes) for five minutes, remove and spread the beads around, place back into water for ten minutes and ready to go. If I am not ready to walk I put it in the refrigerator and it stays cold and ready. I walked my miles then worked out for one hour and it kept me cool. You will have to adjust a few times. Your shirt will get a little wet. No big deal for the benefit you will get. The Flame design is my favorite. Highly recommend.

I bought this product for when I can't use my electric neck fan. Aka times when I'll be bending over and exercising. So what I did like about it was the quality was excellent and the material was smooth & non-itchy. However I had to wait 15mins to get it inflated which was annoying to say the least. After using it to do lawn work I let it dry on my tower fan for a week. I couldn't put this on my air vent because of my dogs. I liked the pattern of pinks that it had and I don't regret buying this. I just wish it dried faster. When using it though it gave me a cooling sensation but I had to turn it over and over. It definitely helped cool my neck but not my body while I had to move around a lot. It didn't slide around. I think it's more for around the house/yard and not for public use, mainly because it can get your shirt wet. I don't think it'll cool you for very long without rehydration. I've had one in the past that was hand made. I've lost it since then and i will say it had no where near the nice quality of this one. It feels like a orbeeze filled sock when inflated. And like a sock with tiny rocks in it when it's not.

I had to work a festival outside a few weeks ago in a heatwave , this was a godsend. Just kept rewetting it and I stayed cool !!!

I wear this every day when I am working outside during the summer in Georgia. I have tried other types of cooling cloths but the others are constantly falling off of my neck. KOOLGATOR snaps closed and stays put no mater how much I move or bend down. I wear a XXL tee-shirt and the KOOLGATOR is not restricting or tight.

I read the other reviews but had to see for myself. They were right, the cooling beads are not sewn into pockets so they all just collect around the base of your neck instead of keeping you cool all the way around your neck.Other than that, the quality feels great. We ended up returning, but I would buy again if they sewed in some cells or pockets - like quilted weighted blankets.

When I first opened the package, I was disappointed. The product is completely flat with what feel like just a few beads compared to other products I have used. I thought “Why bother putting them in at all? There are not enough to matter”. I decided to drop them in water and give them a try. I was extremely surprised at how “plump” it got! Works great! The snap makes them easy to put on and off, as well as move around to keep cool. On the other hand I can tie the ends then snap for a tighter fit if I don’t want it to bounce around in active sports. Overall, I would recommend and would buy again
