Just a quick update... I've used this for maybe 8 months and have to say it's growing on me.Actually thinking of buying a second for the basement stairwell too....Just installed... Lets give it a 4.7, not quite a 5.I had an old light in my hallway and have been wanting to replace it with a more efficient LED light but was concerned about how bright it'd be and held off until reading the reviews on AmazonThe good .... It's bright and it's white unlike the previous light which looked yellow. Setting the 'features' is straight forward.The bad ... For those in the US (at least for me) the mount holes do not fit typical boxes. You're better off using the outer holes and screwing it to the ceiling. The holes for the US box need to be drilled out and cut with an xacto knife.Would have liked ... Remove one switch from the Ambient Light level and the Delay time and use them for a brightness level (50% 75% 100%)

My son refused to turn off the bathroom light (says he forgets) but down here in Jamaica electricity isexorbitantly expensive (virtually all generated from imported oil) so I had to do something to try to reducethe bill.So last week I replaced (in 15 min by myself and I am only a moderately able techie) the existing wall mounted fixture(3 LED bulbs each 12W) with this genius of a unit and am so happy. I'm using one third of the electricity andthe lumen (light output intensity) now seems at least twice as bright!The other thing that I am glad for is that it is designed for 50/60Hz 120V supply and I always go for thoseappliances because 50Hz is what we use in Jamaica unlike the 60Hz in the USA. Legacy of350 years of British colonialism. Maybe it doesn't matter for all devices but I sleep better at night knowing that :)It looks functional and not decorative (i.e. it is VERY plain in appearance) but for the purpose and theprice I really don't mind. I wouldn't put it in the guest bathroom :)One problem at first was that its sensor could "see through" the solid wood bathroom door sowalking by in the passage outside would sometimes trigger the light if set on the highest sensitivity. That washowever easily fixed by stepping the sensitivity down to level 2 of 3. I love the ability to customizeall the features with the dip switches.Another small negative is the 'manual' that came with the light, obviously written by someone whose mother tongue is not English!It would be great to put more detailed info on a website somewhere. For example, I see some adjustment screws on the unitbut no info on how to use them or what they control. But maybe that's for my own good :)I plan on getting at least two more!

These were the easiest lights to install that I have ever bought, 2 wires, 2 screws and your done!Setting the 7 DIP switches to program how and when they operate was a little more challenging, but not much. Easy on & off globes, and they only hang down about 5".I took delivery of them about 5PM and by 5:30 they were both hung and programmed. They are nice and bright, but not "true", the motion sensitivity and being able to delay the length of time for 10 minutes before they go off makes up for the dusk to dawn shortcoming.

Looooooove this light. Totally want another for my laundry room. It works exactly as it's supposed to. I walk into my closet, and the light comes on. The light is bright but not too bright. I was scared when I got this because it's pretty small, but it puts out a lot of light for such a small lamp. No more forgetting to turn the light off. (seriously one of my biggest pet peaves that I cannot seem to let go of). If you can't change your partner's habits, fix the problem with thus light. It's so worth it.

I had hoped to replace a pull-string ceiling light inside my main hall coat closet. The product description states "especially for small-area coverage illumination such as garage, storage, working room, restroom, aisle stairs, closet, corner of the hallway and so on".Unfortunately, the sensor is ultra-sensitive and can sense movement through drywall walls and solid wood doors. Therefore, it is constantantly going on and off when lighting is not required due to movement outside the closet walls/door.There is no way to adjust/block the sensor direction so this light is useless in a closet where movement frequently occurs outside of the walls/door.

The light does not have the ability to go ON at dusk, stay on and then go OFF and dawn. Everything works with the motion detection and will not light until a motion is detected. What they call "dusk to dawn" only sets the amount of light outside when the motion detector allows the light to work. Other than that it is a nice light.

Works amazingly well, very bright. The doppler technology is a plus. I can open the front door, and it immediately detects my motion even though there is a storm door between me and the light at that point. Would definitely recommend.

This little light is really bright. I installed it on a wall in the stairway going upstairs to the loft in my garage. Comes on automatically when I pull into the garage in my car too. I left it at the factory settings, and am really happy with it. I painted the plastic frame before installing because I did not care for the white color. It now looks like the full moon when it comes on :0) Would definitely recommend!!!

I never usually leave a review when I buy from amazon but in this case I feel I must.When the lights turned up for a customer I was worried about the size of them and if they would be bright enough? I have to say as an electrician these were a pleasure to set up and install and they are incredibly bright! And I have one very happy customer 🙂 I would definitely buy these again A+++++

love it for the sensor movement. just a perfect solution for us fixing this unit in the staircase landing area between main floor and basement. This way people going up and down will have a well lit stair

Just got the light delivered. The sensor setting as described in the manual do not work. There are two L wire slots and one N wire slot. With one L wire slot the light remains on for ever and with the other L wire slot it remains on for some time and then switches off. I have played around with the settings but nothing seems to work. A bit disappointed with the product.
