FICM works great. We also had to replace starter because we burned it up trying to start it before we knew what the problem was. The pickup starts even cold now. This saved us a lot of money in the part alone. I'm so thankful I found this on Amazon. I had a high pressure oil pump replaced by a mechanic and when I paid him $3,000 and picked the pickup up he told me it would be cold natured now. It wasn't hard to start until then, so I won't be back to him. It took a while to figure out what the problem was because I didn't trust him anymore and he's worked on my pickups several times. I've only taken the pickup for a test drive at this point because the tags expired while broke down, but tomorrow I should have tags and will be driving it.

Aside from actual task of removing the FICM from my F350, the power supply swap was very straight forward. I like the gold plated contacts on the new power supply compared to the silver ones on my bad power supply. Once installed, the truck started on the first hit. It held 49V exactly like it is supposed to. Great purchase and I saved money over having to replace the entire FICM. I gave it 4 stars because It's only been in the truck for a week. If I never have another FICM issue, then it would be 5 stars.

Straight forward install. Remove parts to get access to ficm, unbolt and replace internal circuit board. Took a few small torqx bits to open ficm case nothing major. Reassemble and double check to make sure all connections are secure. The fit is oem and works perfectly.

This Ficm power board is a Blue Streak Electronics board. I've used there products over the years without issue. Because I'm a Ford specialty shop I've kept one of there boards in stock for years.... I'm working on less and less of the 6.0l because there getting older, so I had purchased this board over a year ago but then installed it 6 months ago. It was out of warranty through Amazon, because it had been over a year. I sent documentation to Blue Streak showing when I purchased it, and then also a copy of my invoice when I installed it, and pictures of the failures.... When replacing the board I also install 2 new 850cca batteries (Low input battery voltage will damage the power board over time). This time around the batteries are still in great shape. After sending all the documentation I called and spoke to them, and requested only an exchange of this failed complete ficm for one of there complete ficms.... Long story short they said they will not only not warranty the logic board, but they would not even warranty the power board even though I provided clear proof the board only lasted 6 months... You know, things happen... I get that... It's how a company handles it that sets them apart... Of course I will warranty the whole repair, parts and labor, for my customer with a new complete ficm assembly (Not from Blue Streak)... Can you perhaps guess what company I will not be getting electronics from going forward?

Unit put out a steady 48v and sometimes up to 49v depending on my system voltage. Fit well and didn't have to force anythi.ng into place. Engine runs nice and quiet and smooth. Would buy this unit again in the future.

My Ford 06 F-350 always started in the cold like one cylinder at a time. If I didn't have it plugged in, chances were I would crank it over until the batteries nearly went dead. After replacing the FICM power module, it doesn't matter how cold it is, it starts right up. Sure it needs to warm up, but all cylinders are firing. Not to bad to install. Took me about an hour and half. The hardest part in getting the whole FICM in and out. So far great product. Great price.

Product is not as pictured. Actual product is a black board, capacitors and other components are different as well which is a little concerning. That being said it does install easy and does have anti vibration glue around main components but not in the way of the mounting holes. I've only had it installed for 2 days now and it does hold at 48 volts but doesn't go any higher. Hopefully its reliable in time too.
