HayabusaLightweight Jiu Jitsu Gi
C**.
Comfortable and Durable
I have had 20+ gis throughout my BJJ career. This is the lightest, most comfortable one that I've owned. Sizing is spot on. Washes well...no shrinkage, no fading! It has held up with gripping and throws. I purchased a second one in the blue color.I will be adding our academy patches. My seamstress will appreciate the lightweight fabric, I'm sure!

Great gi. No shrinkage after wash and dry.
Great summer weight gi. The jacket is extremely soft and comfortable. Not stiff like my other gis. I am 5'9" 155 and the A1 is a good fit. Appropriate length in the sleeves and pants. Skirt is a little shorter than expected but not short enough to be an issue. Slightly slimmer cut than average. After being washed on hot and machine dried several times the pants had zero shrinkage and the jacket had very very mnimal shrinkage. If you're like me and hang-drying isn't an option, this gi is great. No need to size up. Random side note: this gi is very very white. Whiter than my other gis. Like the difference of looking at something under an incandescent bulb vs a daylight bulb.

Great Quality, Extremely lightweight.
Lightest, most comfortable Gi I have so far. The material is quality and woven very tight so not as easy to grip for the opponent. Shrinkage is minimal so no need to order a size up. Very happy with the purchase and will definitely look to Hayabusa again for my BJJ gear.

Very good gi, but runs a whole size smaller
Very good gi, but runs a a whole size smaller than competitors. I am normally an A3 in brands like breakpoint and tatami but even the A4 in hyabusa was a little tight in the kimono. Among the highest quality lightweight gi’s I’ve owned and perfect for summer. I decided to return this gi for the goorudo 3.0 in size A4 from Hayabusa and was a perfect fit but will have to tailor the sleeves. This is hayabusa’s entry level gi and actually great for open door gyms which I actually do an open roll at on the weekends here in Texas, and it’s hot here in the summer. I look forward getting this gi again in the same size once I’ve lost a little more of my midsection.I’m 5’11” and 250 lbs - for comparability for you

Great quality.
I train in Gi three to four days a week. My two first Gi’s were ok and served their purpose however I wanted something more comfortable. I ordered this Gi and loved it. I ordered a second Gi within two weeks and I only use these two now. They are extremely comfortable and durable. I’ve been using them for about four months now and they seem pretty durable. I’m 5’11/ 195lbs and the A3 fits perfect.

Good quality, feels nice
This is a very good gi for the price; in all fairness, I did not try that many different brands but this one seems just right. Below are two things that I thought would be helpful for any others that are interested.1. I am 5ft 11, 185lbs. The size chart recommended A2 and I went with that recommendation. The pants are OK, maybe if they were tapered they would be even better, but they fit me good. However, the gi top is somewhat large and the sleeves a bit long; I think it will get shrunk in time if I machine dry it a few times. This may not be a big deal for me, but it is worth to mention.2. I ordered the white one and the top is NOT the same color as the bottom! The top is a bright white (with a subtle blue nuance) and the pants are yellowish. I think it would have been great if they were the same color. This gi does not come with a belt but for me, it was not a deal-breaker. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase, I will see how it will stand the test of time and if necessary I will come back and update the review.

A3/6’2.5”/205-215lbs
Second Hayabusa gi I have ordered, just wanted another color. Hands down the best quality around. I am 6’2.5” & 205-215 lbs. Bought the A3 and it fit great. Even after washing it in warm water and throwing it in the dryer (I know...family of 6, we don’t do “special” laundry). These gi’s have stood the test, and barely shrink (1/2”) when treated like regular clothes. Train 2-3 times/week. Buy it!
